Any ideas on where to find a replacement tether without buying a new $100 gas cap? Mopar doesn't list that part separately. It will easily come off the cap.
Tires are BFG KO2 315/70/R17 with about 7/32" tread depth left of 4 of the tires, the 5th tire was the spare and has 0 miles on it. All four tire are worn evenly. These still have the OEM TPMS sensors and are pre June of 2021. Asking $1,100.
I need to replace my power steering return hose on a 3.6. Anyone ever done this before? Looks a like a real pain. I don't want to remove the old one until I get the replacement. I removed the two bolts and the lower skid plate. Just trying to plan it out.
Thanks!
I finally got around to dumping a bunch of music onto a USB drive. It works fine in USB port 1 (on the console) and port 2 (in the center console). The two ports in the back, port 3 (driver's side) and port 4 (passenger side, charging port only, no data). I would like to leave it plugged into...
Only on my third oil change and the O-ring on the oil filler cap is very loose and doesn't seat correctly. It squirts out the side when I put the cap back on. The o-ring itself seems to be very small in diameter compared to others. Does anyone know where I can get a new one? I tried finding...
I thought I read somewhere (can't find it now) that there is an extra power wire run to the rear hard top bulk connector for the one-touch roof. I'd like to add an extra cigarette lighter socket back there and use that power to power it. Hopefully it's a consent power source and not a switched...
I have a Jackery 500 and wanted to know the ideal way to operate it.
It’s primarily used to provide power to a 20qt, 45W freezer/fridge. I see in the Jackery manual they do not recommend using pass through charging. Ideally I’m guessing they would suggest to power fridge using the vehicle...
Since the fenders on the Rubicon's are cut higher in the front, to me appears the front sits higher. Where is everyone measuring from to determine their rake. Should I measure off a level floor to the frame, the rock rails, the fenders lip, etc.?
Thanks
I helped pull a car out of a small ditch this weekend and I used a tow strap connected to a receiver shackle mounted in the hitch. I've always used that method with my other trucks because they lacked rear two hooks.
So if you're pulling someone or getting pulled, which would be the better...
Looking for a recommendation for or against different bracket setups. For right now I plan on staying with the stock stabilizer but want the option to upgrade later on. Since I have the stock tie rod, I know the Synergy bolt setup interferes when turned full passenger. Thinking of either MC...
This was taken off my JLUR at 400 miles. My JL has factory front and rear steel bumpers, 3.6, auto, tow package, dual tops.
Pickup only, McDonald, PA, 15 miles west of Pittsburgh. $200
Could anyone else running 11.2.8 see if the winch mode shuts off when you repress the buttons? The display shows winch mode off but the idle stays on 2000rpm indefinitely unless I shift into a gear or shut if off. I know it was working on the previous version. It used to take a little bit but...
I have a small 20 quart fridge (F40C4TMP) that I use for day trips or an overnighter at most. Right now I have it plugged into the rear 12v port and I have it on the max voltage saving setting so I don't hurt the battery. Running it this way I have noticed a few times where it stops running...
Has anyone had to use a Colby valve in a stock wheel. If so, which size did you use? Like to buy a few to have on hand. They have short and long stems. They way the Rubicon wheel stem is configured, it looks like it might be difficult to install.
Thanks
Getting these installed later this week. I just picked up a 2021 JLUR and wanted to know what others are finding as a good tire pressure to run these at on stock wheels. I can play around with a chalk test later but was looking for a starting point. Hoping someone narrowed it down by trail...
