Dudes that's awesome. Grats too! I feel ya though. I had a 2012 2dr JK. Absolutely loved it, but with babies and a dog with hip dysplasia I had to trade in for a more family friendly vehicle. I'm just glad to be back in a Wrangler though... It's been on my mind for too long.
Yea, honestly I was surprised. I saw others get theirs before mine but so happy either way. I've been waiting years for today, so I'm just happy to finally be here haha
I didn't see any one else responding to your question on towing, but the new 2024 does have increased towing because of the beefier rear axle (5,000lbs now versus the old 3,500lbs). Not sure if that makes a difference or not but always an added incentive.

I second @Glamisfan, don't even mess around with the San Diego dealers. No SD dealers were willing to budge when I bought my JK, so that doesn't surprise me. I've heard nothing but good things on this forum about Rob and plan on going with him for my 2022 when I get back home. Best of luck and...
Almost forgot to mention, whichever lift you ultimately decide on you should reach out to the sponsor on the forum or call their ordering/customer service. Potentially could get a 5-10% discount depending on a holiday, military, or forum discount. If you do end up going with a shop for the...
I personally was in the same boat when I had my JKR and wanted to take it into a shop for to get the lift installed. I ended up watching a ton of Youtube videos and with the help of a buddy, got through it just fine... but it also taught me a lot about my Jeep. I think most would agree that by...
Depends on the size of your dog and if you're able to lift them up and down safely. My buddy has a large GSD and he just went with a fully enclosed annex with his RTT. I'll probably do the same when I go that route, but more for the privacy it provides than anything else.
I agree with @Sboden and would just remove the RTT between uses. Yes, it would be a bit of a hassle, but if it is parked outside and starts hailing, you'd have to run out, deflate, and then move into the garage (and that delay could contribute to the hail damage). As far as deflating long term...
Personally, I can deal with the seat stitching. I never planned on leather so I'm throwing neoprene covers on the cloth seats like I did with my JK. The red dash just feels so out of place to me that it would need to be an early mod I knock out. I have the benefit of not coming back until later...
I'm in the same boat as you, debating on the 4xe or diesel. The only reason I've leaned more toward the diesel (lately) has been the better range and (slightly) less weight. The range of the 4xe compared to diesel (est 370mi vs 550mi) has been the killer for me if I planned on doing any long...
Wondering if it's the Electric Air Conditioning compressor. I tried looking up more on it but there seems to be limited info as to the noise level of it.

He started a pretty good thread of his set up that he and others have contributed to here

From what I understand it's common and is shipped from the factory to the dealers that way. You're definitely fine to lower down to the door sticker... and recommended to get the most life out of your tires anyways. Even when I bought my 2012 JKR the tires were much higher than they needed to...
I've heard great things about the LOD roof rack. It will work with the one touch. That's the main reason I've been planning on going with it when I get mine.

Wow did they change the way they used to do it when it comes to canceling? Before they forced you to call them in order to cancel. It was an absolutely miserable 45+ min ordeal for me when I decided to cancel my 2012 JKR's subscription.
Great write up man. So glad to see your rig has been working great for you. Always appreciate the time you put into these posts because I absolutely love reading them. Cheers!
