    Has anyone considered modifying their driver’s seat for more legroom.? I have looked but not found any options for the JL. Misch 4x4 makes seat brackets for the jk but not sure they would work for my JL

    Sure seems that way reading this thread. However the dealer said this falls under the power train warranty 5/60. Plus the new parts are warranted 2 yrs unlimited miles. Hope I don’t have to fool with it again but I expect to.

    I bought it used with 17k miles. Noticed the knock the first week I had it. As it worsened I took Jeep to dealer at 20k.

    Update: just got the rear diff carrier assembly installed in my 18 sport s 20k miles. Took 3 weeks to get parts in. I have attached the service receipt with part numbers.

    Dealer said FCA would provide a rental but only for 5 days. I bought vehicle from a dealer out of town so the local dealer won’t give me one on their dime. I understand that but the manufacturer should step up for more than 5 days on a situation like this. Tech said I can drive mine til part...

    Update on my rear diff repair: Dealership diagnosed problem and ordered new carrier assembly 12/29. Said the part was on back order but they expected to receive it 1/8. They called today to let me know the ETA on the parts has now moved to 1/20. Sent @JeepCares a message on here 12/30 but...

    Add me to the list. 2018 JL Sport S all stock with the exception of wheels (17 in). Bought the Jeep used with 17k miles 7 weeks ago. Noticed the knocking from the start. It’s now at the dealer. Thanks to this thread the problem was diagnosed quickly. Question now becomes should the entire axle...
