One thing to consider, LED lights do not get hot like Halogen do. You may ask why this might be important? Well, i see you live in IL where is snows. I have OEM LED headlights, snow collects on the light wells causing the emitted light to become VERY dim. I have had to pull over to clean the...
Good on ya, and thanks for doing this! I hike and backpack, mostly in the Sierra backcountry, and pretty much every trek i come out with trash. I will also pick up trash when i can when venturing off-road as well.
Have read where others have tried that without success. Part of the problem is that it collects in the light well and is in effect kept in place by the force of the air as the vehicle moves forward.
I notice you live in Wisconsin where i assume you have snowy Winters. My Willys has LED lights which DO NOT melt the snow that will accumulate in the light wells and which dims the headlights considerably. I have had to pull off the highway to clear the snow out to i could see to drive. Still...
Damn, was hoping the headlight wells would be shallower on the new version... i live in an area where it snows, and with low/non heat emitting LED headlights, the wells accumulate snow which vastly dims the light output (STOOPID)!
Actually, no, you do not need to have the key inside once it is running or while you are driving. This was notification was actually when the fob was in the vehicle, but due to the fob battery being too cold, it could not be detected. I have also walked away from my Jeep while it's running with...
Got my limited release color, Bikini Pearlcoat, at the beginning of 2020. It's a rich multidimensional metallic teal which changes color from blue to green blue green to blue green to green depending on the light. The only disadvantage? It stands out. ;) So this self professed lead-foot has...
They didn't replace the bracket, the whole visor assembly was replaced with one that has been re-engineered. Why would i want them to repace the passange side? ...cuz it will be a problem at some point. Why should I have to fix a KNOWN issue?
It's a known issue. Don't use mine much, but had the problem. The thing that pissed me off is dealers know it's a problem, and they replaced my drivers side visor BUT wouldn't do the passenger side cuz it wasn't broken... yet! Just stupid!
I did search "extended warranty" before posting, but surprisingly not much came up. When my thread was moved, "similar threads" came up with that 'title'. I have perused them and did not really find an answer to the specific info i am seeking. Had i, would've deleted this thread/inquiry.
I have a 2020 Unlimited Sport Willys, purchased new and did not buy an extended warranty at the time, but am considering one now. It's my only vehicle, but my miles are mostly trip traveling. My Jeep is not a pavement princess as I like to get far off the beaten path, so do go off road, and...
Have had to do this when the fob battery was so cold it would not function and it works perfectly. Had a bit of anxiety once when for the same reason the fob would not unlock the doors... until i remembered the key. How could i forget about the key when it always seems to want to deploy like a...
