Mainly just a weekend vehicle. Only a couple of off-road trips so far. I did a hunting trip to MO, 1300 mile round trip and have done a few day trips (about an hour each way). I live in the country so really don't have much "city" driving.
I'm at 6700 miles and just had to fill up the DEF tank for the second time. Not 100% sure if it was full from the dealer, but filled up at just over 3000, and now again today. I had read that should be about a tank of DEF every 10k, at this rate I'm 3x that
I installed a iDrive and run it on U5, absolutely no lag. Will flat out get up and go. I will say this about the milage. Stock I got around 26mpg, went to 35's and it dropped to ~23 around town and on the hwy I'm only getting about 20mpg. Get about the same results with the iDrive on or off.
I have the diesel and as far as gas milage goes, stock I was getting about 26mpg around town and on short, less than an hour drive trips. I put on 35's and of course my around town milage went down to 23-24. I have gone on a couple of longer trips and I get worse milage on the hwy then in town...
The pods on the bumper are driver combo and I have them slightly pointed outward toward the edges of the trail, the Rigid set on the cowl are "spot" and have the pointed straight down trail.
I'm wanting a gun rack for my JLUR and also want a hi-lift jack that mounts inside. I've looked at the Trail Trak system by Hi-Jack for mounting the jack and the WPN Gear rack for a gun rack. Now I'm trying to decide if I blend the 2 systems. Anyone have the WPN Gear rack? If so, do you think...

Talked to the guys at Teraflex. For the ST2 kit they add a 1" spacer to the coil spring in the fronts, they are also working on re-designing the Falcon Shock for the diesel that should be ready about March.
Rock Krawler already has a kit but looks like they use the same shocks but different...
Opinion on this kit? Local shop is running a special this month on this kit installed for $1099 (JL). I was planning on a lift in a couple of months and have been looking at the Teraflex ST2 with falcon 2.1 shocks.

Picked up a new Rubicon on Oct. 31. Of course, I had told myself that any mods would be done slowly and take some time. Well, it's not working out that way......
Started off with a set of Smitybuilt seatcovers and a few Bartact items.
Then I ordered a Ace Eng. rear cargo basket
Also installed...
