  1. Fusion 60/14b one ton axles.

No, I am running the fusion 2 1/2 ton set up that comes with the axles, both tire rod and drag link, which I am extremely happy with. I’ve hung whole front end of my jeep on that tie rod, and it came back pretty nicely. My axles are 72 inches wide, that being said, I have on one instance, had...
  2. Fusion 60/14b one ton axles.

I am not sure, I didn’t see the Facebook post. But I know my picture was getting passed around through a few shops because the kids had just came out.
  3. Fusion 60/14b one ton axles.

I am not sure if the PSC kit will solve the slow turning issues.
  4. Fusion 60/14b one ton axles.

Lol I’m not sure if it fits in the garage. I drilled and tapped the factory steering gearbox, and I’m running the factory pump without changing anything, and it will turn just fine in the rocks bound up however, under normal driving conditions like whipping into a parking spot or a quick left to...
  5. Fusion 60/14b one ton axles.

Fusions are twice the axle of the Dana’s are, but if you’re not planning on lifting the rig a bit, clearance between the tie rod in Pitman arm will most likely be an issue.
  6. Fusion 60/14b one ton axles.

Please ignore the ugly aluminum spacer I had made at the last minute right before a trip. I had to do this because the metal cloak spring diameter was larger than the OEM spring diameter and I didn’t feel it came in contact with the collar on the Acos adjustable spacer properly.
  7. Fusion 60/14b one ton axles.

If you don’t want additional ride height, one of the things I was flirting with, was changing the rod and around, if you look at the rod end on the drag link, where it attaches to the axle, that rod end has a different angle bent into it, and I was looking into, potentially putting that on the...
  8. Fusion 60/14b one ton axles.

I did have to make one modification to the echo, spacer, the metal cloak spring inner diameter is larger than the OEM so it didn’t seat well on the bucket, so I basically went to my local metal shop and got 2 Large aluminum circle blanks in for the center out to essentially create an oversized...

  10. Gearing for 40's on UD60's........ 4.88 or 5.38?

I ran into the same issues, I had a 4 inch metal cloak lift and the tie rod, was tagging the Pitman arm all the time, granted the metalclaok might ride a little low, so what I did is, I bought the ACOS adjustable spring perch with the Hydro bumps, and that solved my issue. The Hydro bombs really...
  11. Fusion 60/14b one ton axles.

I am running fusion sixties front and rear on 40 Cooper sst and I can easily pass cars at freeway speeds anywhere from 55 to 85 without having to downshift. From what I remember, if I remember correctly, the 488 on 40s puts it 200 RPM, higher than factory, gearing and tires at freeway speeds...
  12. Dana 60's: Currie vs Dana Spicer vs Dynatrac vs Fusion

I see the difference and advantage of the hydraulic assisting portion, I’m just curious how this comes into play for the traction control light going off on sharp turns? Are you running a factory pump or are you running the PSC pump? how is the steering speed in a quick steer scenario like if...
  13. Dana 60's: Currie vs Dana Spicer vs Dynatrac vs Fusion

Interesting, what do you think the difference between your original gearbox and the diesel gear box is?
  14. California JLUR front and rear driveshaft 3000 miles

I have a front and rear driveshaft off of a JLU are removed with only 3000 miles on the vehicle, they have never been off-road and I change them when I did an axle swap. $300 for both or $200 each.
  15. Brake master cylinder front and rear bias adjustment?

Just curious if anybody has figured out a way to, if it is even possible, to increase Brake b to the rear axle? I have a 392 Rubicon with fusion ultimate 60 axles. I have no problem stopping on the highway at high speeds as the front brakes do a fantastic job. The only reason why I feel the...
  16. PSC steering on 3.6 etorque

I have had pretty good luck with tapping the factory steering gearbox and just adding a PSE ram to the axle. The only downside is that pulling into a parking lot into a tight parking spot the steering can be a little bit slow. But I’m pretty sure this is kind of common to all Hydro assist. I...
  17. Dana 60's: Currie vs Dana Spicer vs Dynatrac vs Fusion

KNight Off Road, one other question, do you feel like you have enough rear braking force applied to the rear axle? I feel like it’s a little light, the only reason why I say that is if you’re backing down some thing in the front tires lose traction I don’t feel like the rears hold as well as...
  18. Dana 60's: Currie vs Dana Spicer vs Dynatrac vs Fusion

Knight offroad I also have fusion axles on my 392, I have the 60s front and rear. They are definitely beef and you’re definitely need to grind down the knuckle stops to get the appropriate amount of steering. I am thinking you could probably get a 9 inch rim to match the steering gearbox throw...
  19. Dana 60's: Currie vs Dana Spicer vs Dynatrac vs Fusion

I believe I have the 8 inch ram, the six was way too short I couldn’t even make a U-turn on a four-lane road. I am still inching a little at a time towards the maximum turn radius, I’m taking a little off of knuckle at a time until I can get it to match the steering gearbox. I believe the...
  20. Dana 60's: Currie vs Dana Spicer vs Dynatrac vs Fusion

The only time I have a clearance issue is when the front suspension is compressed evenly in the upper direction, the limiting factor in the travel is the gap between the tie rod and the Pitman arm tie rod. That being said on articulation the 40s are hard into the fender before I come close to...
