This isn't sponsored or anything like that. I just like a bargain. I bought these off of Amazon for $15 and the cowl mounts for about $12. I ordered a fused wiring harness for about $11 that I needed a little modification and it replaced the bolts to make them shorter. All tolled it was about...

I redid the mounting hardware for my little cube lights because the manufacturer bolts were so long. I also wired them up.

I believe that is a fine idea, but if I'm taking off the bolts to cut them (I don't trust myself to cut them while installed), I can replace them with $2 worth of new hardware.

Today was adding cheap cube lights. I added the brackets last week, but I needed to add a pigtail to the lights because the leads were very short. I've run out of time, so they're not wired in right now. I'd also like to get a shorter bolt to make it look cleaner.

I painted the step inserts on my Magnum step bars before installing them today. I like the contrast. What do you think?

The defrost problem is one of the first things I noticed since I've had trash weather since the first day I got my JL. The outside edges required full blast hot to get good. I've ordered an 8 pack. Thanks for the tip.

Replaced the 80th Anniversary carpet mats with SmartLiner mats. They fit really well, but the pop down cap is a little lacking. I'll try again when it's not 10 degrees outside. I also put on a Rugged Ridge 21" antenna. I had already noticed the stock one whipping around.

Did you have to add resistors for the amber flashers to prevent hyperflash?

Question: I'm looking at replacing the bulbs in my fender mounted lights with LEDs since I didn't spring for the package. Are the fenders on the 80th Anniversary the Sahara fenders? They look like they have two separate bulbs. Normally it would be a single amber that a lot of people replace with...

Thanks for posting a real pic of these. I was just looking around Amazon for tail lights and they seem maybe too cheap. Is the plastic super thin or anything?
