I used a Derale 13264 dual pass aluminum heat sink cooler to help keep it cool. The cooler from Apex was out of stock and appeared a bit undersized for running it hot locations in an already hot engine compartment.
We donāt currently run with a sector shaft brace installed. We just recently moved to the 2.5 ton Apex tie rod and drag link, but I found no damage to the factory equipment while installing.
We used the Apex boost valve, and an after market cooler, with a stock tie rod from June through the middle of September last year from Bisbee, AZ to Moab on 37ā BFG K02ās on our JLUR with zero issues. From Top of the World, Backway to Crown King, Elephant Hill and Phoenix area trails in 117f...
ā20 JLUR 2.0T - Main battery failed at 14 months and 24k miles. According to the service department sheet the battery failure caused 53 different codes that had to be worked individually after I told them the main battery was shot. 2 days later I had a new main battery and lots of codes chased...
I just picked up one of these. I couldnāt find a good set at any of my auto parts stores.

Whatās the general thought process on re-torquing the body bolts? Remove, clean up and reinstall or just put the torque wrench on and tighten up?
Scenario:
I noticed that the drivers side on ours has a extremely small amount of give. I checked the passenger side and solid as a rock. Then I...
I thought the manual settings on the shock worked on both automatic and firm switch settings. In automatic it shifts into your preset firm settings under either user or predefined g force loads. The manual button forces it into those preset or user defined firm settings that youāve created...
My guess is that itās using a common ground on that circuit inside the controller as itās not drawing that much power. The tech at Teraflex also said I could run with one or more unplugged while the checked my leaking one out.
I always forget about the app, but you can double check that the...
Hi! I hooked up the ground wire on ours when I ran it to the battery. Perhaps they made a revised version as it said nothing about not needing to. I donāt hear anything from the system while itās in operation. I really donāt feel a difference in modes during normal driving. Pulling it behind...
Iāve had these installed for about a month with good results and installed on the soft side. You can tell a difference between auto, soft and firm. We pull ours behind our RV and I have to remember to switch it to firm manually for a better tow as weāve found it smooths out the overall ride in...
Here are a few pics of ours over the first year. Weāve had a great time with the DirtyDawg and just got back from a trip out West running some trails. Looking forward to the next trip!
Have you tried the Maximus frame mount tow hooks? Thats what I have and they work great. Just pulled it another 1800 miles of bumpy I-40 and I-10 with all the headwinds with no issues. Have to add it all up, but we are getting close to 15k miles with that set up and it works great. Enjoy!
Wow! Is it that loud in the cabin? Mine is not that loud even though it is noticeable with the windows down. My wife asked about it once, but really ours doesnāt appear to be that loud. Be interested in what others think for sure.
If you are looking for challenging trails you can check out Beasley Knob OHV trails. Itās a BOH trail and can be difficult depending on the weather. Itās an hour to 90 minutes from Silva if I remember right but been a while since we were up that direction. We had an absolute great time after a...
Are these domestic production grade 10.9 hardware or the foreign variety? If it would stop raining and warm up a bit Iād like to install my Clayton lift and this would be the perfect time to upgrade. Thanks!
