There’s an option for it in the settings/menu...maybe it doesn’t work, I would assume it does though. I know certain things have to be met to actually perform one.
Mine recently had something similar occur. I was on about an 800 mile road trip, passive regens kept the soot levels very low; about after 700 miles since the last active regen, my soot level was in the mid 40s, a few minutes later I looked at my Banks Idash and it was in an active regen. It...
This is very interesting...I monitor all 3 of my diesels (Cummins, Duramax and the Eco Diesel) and I have never seen the DPF soot levels drop without a regen occurring. Loaded, unloaded, working hard etc.
That’s not how the emissions system works. The DPF accumulates soot until it reaches its capacity and then performs a regen to burn off the soot. The Eco Diesel typically goes into active regen mode at about 80% Soot percentage and will drop down to 10 or so % after it completes the regen. My...
I have the 2.8 Duramax in my Colorado ZR2 Bison, it’s a great little engine for that truck...that being said, it has no where near the power of my Eco Diesel Rubicon. I realize it’s a 4 cylinder but the HP and Torque difference is crazy.
I have issues with it as well, inconsistent readings, trouble with custom PIDs etc. OBD Fusion works great on my ZR2 Bison Duramax but haven’t tried it on the Jeep yet.
