FYI, I stored my hi lift jack under the rear seats of my JLUR, just wrapped a towel around the top and base and no rattle. Out of sight, out of the elements, only downside is rear seats cannot be lowered. The orange plastic base also fits easily in the rear hatch area under the hinged panel.

Sorry to hear, as I just bought my '21 JLUR from Landmark and they're very close to home. For my CJ, I use a small shop in Chamblee (J&L Automotive on N. Peachtree). Not sure how or if they could handle warranty work though.

Excellent point - I've been eyeballing removing those end caps too but have hesitated due to this very concern. Think they'll stay on - too many idiots on the road.

JL newbie question: Where is the amplifier? My JLUR has the 9 speaker system. Also, has anyone experimented with the Alpine Subwoofer control (variable resistor/volume)? Quadratec offers this but seems a bit cheap.
