Yup it’s why I mentioned that it supposedly only doesn’t work with the SOT. Maybe I’m missing something? Figured they would have said doesn’t work with the SOT and soft top on their website?

While I don’t have a soft top, I went with the one from Adventure Rack Systems /Metal Cloak. Supposedly it just doesn’t work with the SOT. IF you get it, definitely get a buddy to help install it. It’s heavy and a real b*tch to do by yourself.

Here ya go. When you pull the carpet back you won’t have the wire from the floor like the picture. Make sure you pull the carpet on the passenger side as well. With the passenger side carpet pulled back, you can route the cable a few places depending on where you put the cb

If the wire is already inside by the pedals, why not just route it between the foot wells? there’s a gap that you can use. Easier to see if you remove the carpet. You can use fish tape or a metal coat hanger to go to the passenger side and then pull the cable

Gotcha. I've only looked at bolt in since my JL is my daily driver and wasn't 100% sure if I wanted to go down the route of a full cage. This is something a little lower on my list but I would assume that the full cage would be safer depending on the welds and pipes used but figured the bolt-in...
