I agree you have to expect some noise but there’s no point exacerbating the noise by opting for mud tires if you are primarily on pavement. . The Adventure A/T’s are sugnificantly quieter and steer much better on pavement and are suited to light off road.

Driving on mud tires is not a pleasant experience if you’re mostly on road. My brother has the Willys w/the Firestone’s and they look cool but pavement ride was terrible compared to the A/T Adventure/Kevlars that he switched to after a few months.

I can’t help but think that reliability will get better with each model year. I need dependable transportation. Fortunately my Tacoma holds value well so I’m going to sit on it until 2022 model year and then take the plunge. some on here may find this strange but it’s really the Sky One Touch...

Yea. Those are the horror stories that scare me. I may wait until 2022 model year. Can’t believe any major issues wouldn’t be fixed by then. as far as cleaning the snow off Sky One Touch. This.

Not true. Still on the fence not happy w/my Tacoma PRO in snow which is big here for 4 months a year. Sahara w/the lsd and selec trac is real tempting. And I got to admit. the Sky One Touch is probably the tipping point

I wanted the selec trac and lsd so am ordering a Sahara. Purely for snow, it will be better than the Rubicon. The Rubicon is no doubt better off-road but I need a great snow daily driver not an off-roader

I always ran w/350lbs in the bed. ive been using my brothers Willys which has a trutrac lsd installed and it kicks the PROs butt in the snow conditions I deal with.

Looking at the lsd I think it will be wear well for my application. I can see guys taking their Jeep off road and tearing it up but I’m just on road in snow.

No doubt lockers on Rubicon are great but for the pure snow driving I do I didn’t find them useful at least on my PRO. Used them once on my Tacoma but my traction ramps would have got me out of trouble as well. would rather have the corrective lsd and that selec trac looks like it may work...

So with selec trac can you still manually control 4wd or is it just always on and kicks in when needed. same question regarding trac loc. thanks !

Not on the build your own 2021 Sahara Unlimited on the Canadian site. You can order just the selec trac or just the trac loc or both. so w/selec trac I would run in 4hi all the time so an lsd in 2wd would be pointless. No ?

Ordering my Sahara and I dont see what benefit the Trac Loc lsd would have if I get the Selec Trac? Is it worth it to get both. Driving in snow is my main thing not off roading
