Nope, they confirmed they discontinued the FOXes. Their reply:
"Due to Fox’s constant supply chain issue, and constant back orders, we discontinued the Fox shocks and now have an even better shock made with our own improved proprietary valving. This is a step up in quality, longevity, and ride...
Hello everyone,
Has any of you tried the new Dynatrac Endurosport 2" lift with their new proprietary shocks? Seems the've dropped the Foxes from their offer.
Thx,
Razvan
I will reply differently - The max size you can go without serious rubbing for export Rubicons is 33".
Anything else depends also in the tire itself and wheel offset, as the vary in size. An easy and cheap setup to go to 35" tires is to add 1.5" or 2" spacer lift + 2" bump stops front and...
I am in Europe and I kinda tried everything. You can go safely with everything you want to change, as there is no difference in suspension items. As already stated, in Europe we have lower fenders and narrower axles, but that doesn't change anything for suspension.
To go cheaper, I would...
Your stock wheels have a +44mm offset. To go wider, you can try a wheel down to +6 mm offset. Below that, you may start rubbing on the fender outer edge with your 33's at full flex.
If you don't wheel hard, on street you can go even with 35's and any offset.
Went trough this already. Story is simple. You lift the stock springs with 1.5, you need to do the same with the stock shocks, otherwise they don't operate within the specs.
Even if Teraflex says no need of bumpstops and shock extenders, I don't agree with them.
In my case, the 1.5 spacer lift...
If you go for a spacer lift, I recommend the AEV 2" one, it has everything you need. I also have a spacer lift from Teraflex (1.5' ST) - I can tell you it's incomplete and I had to buy myself bumstops, shock extension brackets.
PS - I think with the OEM wheels, you can put 35s without any lift
I did this setup! Currently with no shock extensions and stock config, but running 35's. I can tell you that the front shocks are suffering (hyper extended position is hit quite often) which also gives a not so good feeling on the road.
I ordered the shock extensions and mount them on...
One thing to do after upgrading wheels is to set your computer to know the size of your new wheels.
My experience: computer had 32.5 inches pre-configured stock and I changed it to 34.5 inches (my wheel exact diameter). As a result, the speedo is now accurate and the transmission behaviour is...
My jeep had all the knocking noise at cold start-ups since new, went to the dealer at the 15k service, updated some software modules and noises are now gone. Dunno in US, mine is an export Rubi in Europe.
Thanks for your reply. I understand and agree with your feedback, I just want to see if shock extensions will do the trick. Still cheaper for this option instead of newer shocks which I may not need, as I use the jeep 95% on flat roads.
Hello guys,
I've got my export JLUR on some heels using a 2" spacer lift (only the spacers). I have added later the Mopar longer LCAs for improved caster. Everything else is stock, including shocks.
Now the problem is that I don't really like the ride compared to stock - every small bump or...
