I do a lot of night driving and wildlife is always a concern. Are the factory headlights good, or is additional lighting recommended? Has anyone swapped out the factory fog lights for amber colored ones? If so, was the result good?
8.0L/100kms is pretty good. What is your commute like? I do about 80kms per day with about 90% at 105-110kph and am looking at buying the 4xe. Not sure if I can plug in at work though.
Thanks for the reply. I'm glad to hear that it's been working well for you and hasn't damaged the Jeep in any way. I read one forum post where a guy had battery issues and then plugged his in-law's Pacifica into the same charger and messed up their battery also.
I have a NEMA 6-20 outlet in my garage and was wondering if there were any recommended chargers that use this type of plug. I would like to avoild running another line into the garage if possible.
I was told the 2023 production for here starts in October. 3 months for a build unless there was a restricted option ordered, then it goes to 8 months. Advanced Safety System is supposed to set the time back to 8 months. Mine will be an 8 month build if I order one.
I was going through the build process online and was wondering if this was a worthwhile option to have installed. I assume it is, but was looking for some feedback.
Thanks for the replys gentlemen.
At home my vehicles are in a heated garage and at work we do plug in for the winter. I'm not sure if I would be able to plug in and charge spring, summer and fall (without someone making an issue of it). I was wondering about a block heater also as I had not...
I was wondering if there was any benefit to having the PHEV in the winter, or if it's advantages were only seen in the three seasons that don't suck. My typical vehicle usage is an approx 80kms per day (50 miles) commute to work with 90% of that on the highway (65mph). Winter is typically -20C...
I have used the Adaptive Cruise Control feature in foggy weather (not in a Jeep) to keep a consistent distance between myself and the vehicle in front of me when the visibility drops off. It also works well in blowing snow. Wet show will cover over the sensor in any vehicle and shut it off.
