They don’t need to be balanced. I have 40” Toyos and didn’t even bother balancing them and they are perfect (last time I wasted time with balancing beads).
The weather here in Colorado is supposed to be nice this weekend. Going to try running a harder trail that we haven’t ran since we had 37s on the Jeep! Will report back on how the new setup performs.
Here’s a picture of the last time we ran it (Eagle Rock).
I believe the BFG Krawlers in a 42 are for a 20” wheel unfortunately and I ran Goodyear MTRs on my TJ awhile back and I was not impressed. I agree on the Toyos, so far they are my favorite tire I’ve ran. I am holding out and hoping for either Toyo or Nitto to make a 42.
I do actually, it is Magnaflow Part #: 19431 or here is the link https://www.northridge4x4.com/part/cat-back-exhausts/19431-magnaflow-off-road-pro-series-cat-back-exhaust-system-polished
If you have a 2.0L I believe unfortunately they only make this style for the 3.6L.
This is true. I looked at the Baja Pro XS but would like something not quite as wide. A 42x14.50R17 would be perfect for me, but I don’t want to run Treps on a daily haha.

As far as the gears go, I...
Jack’s first outing on the new set-up was a success with no major issues! I will attach a few pictures from our test run on China Wall trail. But first, here is a list of everything I can remember that we’ve done to the Jeep thus far.
Also if anyone in Colorado Springs or the Colorado area is...
This finally all brings us to the current day, I will try to make a list of all the current modifications, but here are some pictures after we got the Jeep back from 3D Offroad and installed the tire carrier and VersaTable.
Behold, the new Jack!
Due to the added weight on the rear, 3D...
Up until this point, we never really had any major issues with the Jeep. I did have some gripes, for instance, the coilovers riding rough and harsh on the road, the 4.88s not being low enough in 4-LO, and the brakes not being quite enough for 40s. My only real substantial gripe was steering. In...
