yeah I know I'll have to do a motobilt tank for sure to make room. Yeah I just seen exodus4x4 post on instagram about an evo high clearance triangulated rear long arm, cant seem to find it on evo's site though.
Mine are welded on. The motobilt do not have a bolt on option. you could drill some holes in the base plate and mount them to the frame but the mounts do no wrap around the bottom of the frame so i wouldnt recommend it.

Ive installed his long arm on a jlu before, the quality is really nice. I think i'm going to go 3 link in the front and stay with a 4 link in the back, not really sold on the 3 link in the rear
I emailed them last week about their kit and they said it doesnt work for 2dr applications. I've been talking to hepta mfg about their kit, probably the route I'll end up going with, just wanted to see what others have done.
These are pure beef and i've installed many of the 4dr and JT versions of these sliders. I've also installed the evo mfg weld on ones as well. Cant go wrong with either one but the motobilt sliders are definitely beefier. I need to do a weight comparasion but I'm 99% sure my 2dr slider weighs...
I recently got my hands on the first set of production sliders 2dr JLs from Motobilt. These things are amazing, craftmanship is second to none. I can't to get these mounted.
I went with a 10k warn evo vr just because most of the other vehicles I go wheeling with or see offroad are bigger SUVs or trucks. Cant hurt going up to a 10k.
