Aw man...that sucks. Just an additional FYI for JeepCares in case it does help to know. I had zero codes as well. There was nothing to indicate an issue outside of the noise on deceleration.
The sound can be very faint. The difference between windows up or down can impact hearing it.....Sitting in the passenger seat vs drivers seat...add to that certain set of circumstances.... it could be getting missed... or maybe it was just a fluke for you?
for me... I had to be in the drivers...
WOOOHOOOOO!!!! Itās almost like new the way she handles now isnāt it! Has a bit more spunk that you didnāt realize she was lacking? Thatās how it was for me anyway š š
So glad to have been able to assist in such a small yet big way! Youāre going to hear a completely different Jeep when she gets back. Hope the wait isnāt too long.
Guess I have been fairly lucky. Every dealership Iāve ever dealt with for the most part the service department has been good and no issues getting my warranty work. The worst has been communication sucks as does getting my loaner sometimes but getting them to do the work has never been an issue.

This was the exact same sound....only from drivers seat very faint to hear. The circumstances you mentioned is exactly what I told my team. If you go back a page or two you should see/Find the post where I posted the maintenance finding and what they did. It was a whole turbo change and she...
@Huehue80 Iām with HaoleOverland...if you have a clip of the sound I too can confirm if it was what I had. They replaced the whole turbo with mine as well.
I finally took her for a longer drive. She is performing better than before. I had my hubby take her out as well and he agrees she seems stronger now than before. As you can probably tell Iām not an extremely technical person ... šš¤£
Iād assume if they could they would have just done that. Iām more curious as if it is a turbo housing build issue since they went the route of changing the whole thing out.
I honestly cannot say if it sounds like yours because Iāve never heard a card in bike tire before ... the sound was a ticking/clicking sound. Mostly heard at lower speeds... typically on natural deceleration. .the sound would stop completely once pressing the brake. Wouldnāt make the noise...
