  1. Jeeps aren't that bad

Saw this on X via Musk. Make of it what you will. For me, I like my Jeep. YMMV.
  2. Replacing battery - any special precautions?

Although my OEM battery is still working (bought 11/20) I just ordered an Interstate MTX94R battery. I have the "tow package" so it should shoe right in. I figured when it gets here I'd put it on the trickle charger prior to install. When disconnecting/reconnecting the negative and positive is...
  3. Friction Modifier or no? Amsoil

Good morning, I have the Amsoil pictured below - on the website it says: but on the bottle it says: I have the LSD in the rear. Thoughts/experience?
  4. It's the High Altitude thing to do.

I mean, yeah it's a Jeep Wrangler, but if you have a High Altitude this is a MUST (for any Wrangler actually it's a worthwhile upgrade) Yes the hood prop is fine, but a "little posh with the push on da hood" is cool. Redline hood struts.
  5. Replaced KC cubes with Pro 6

    Pretty happy with the results.
  6. Spare tire bump stops recommendation

When I mounted my spare tire it was about .250"-.312" (6-8mm) clearance between the stop and tire. 8. Never mind - was looking at wrong connections.

Never mind - thanks for the support :)
  9. Does Tazer Mini or Lite disconnect TSC/ESC/ABS on regular JL?

Hi - Does the Taser have the ability to disengage the TSC/ESC/ABS on regular JL Jeeps? Mine is a 2021 High Altitude with 3.6 etorque auto. The screen shot of the Z Automotive webpage confuses me - is this capable only for the Rubicon?
  10. 33's on the High Altitude

285/70/17's on 17" wheels - stock High Altitude. Took it to the dunes and it hit the whoops, inclines, hills without any issue. With the 3:73 gearing there isn't any loss of acceleration or any trouble in the sand. The wheel/tire combo only added a 1/2" wider stance.
  11. Replacing tires - stock to 285/70/17

Howdy all - replacing my 275/55/20 OEM tires-wheels with 285/70/17's. This won't be permanent as I love the OEM's for when the Jeep is mostly road bound and for road trips. However am getting ready to dune at Silver Lake, MI soon and hope to hit some mild trails with the local club. Questions...
