  1. Gears for 37's and auto

I have the 3.6 Auto ESS and 4.88 with 37s and just put on some winter tires that are 315s, I wouldnt go with the 5.13's if you want to spend a lot of time in low range, the smaller pinion and gear teeth mean greater changes of breakage. I like the 315s with 4.88 it pops off the line and goes...

  5. LED Fog light out in less than a year.

I have 2 of them in my garage, upgraded to the Rigid Ambers, if you have to pay for it I would give one or both to you for a lot less than that, keep it in mind less than 5k mi when I replaced them.
  6. Does anyone use the "manual" mode on the automatic transmission?

Other than the already mentioned uses for me is mainly keeping RPMs uphill, the most common use on-road is when descending on icy roads going around corners you dont want the transmission to downshift it can cause a loss of traction in really icy conditions so I always use M while on a descent...
  7. What did you do to your 2dr today?

I like the bumper your rear is similar I went went the Evo instead - check the Rustys Rear Fascia cover kit I added it to mine and it is very nice. Just realized I need to update my rigs build page, will add a few better pics later
  8. Another “35s or 37s?” Thread,,, questions

I would go with 37's if you are going to regear, you can drive with 4.10s but the gas mileage will take a hit, I drove all winter in 4H and was averaging about 12 mpg, by the end of summer I was averaging 15 so in 2h I probably get 18 or so on the highway. You didnt mention if its a MT is so I...
  9. Forum Exclusive Groupbuy from ORACLE Lighting: Heated Oculus

The only thing better would be to make the headlight able to switch to amber when it sensed there was fog, snow, or dust in the road (a switch would probably be just as cool) so then it would be the absolute safest possible light ever.
  10. How did you wire your winch?

I used 2 Warn kits 1 for the winch (bottom left) and 1 for the ARB compressor (top right) and both are wired to 1 switch on the Switch-Pros 9100 on the A-pillar it powers both.
  11. Baja Designs Awesome LP Series Support Thread

Nice that sounds like a really good setup actually - I was looking at something similar when driving on back roads, I have my LP4s on a Switch-Pros switch on the A pillar and its not easy to turn on-off on the road.
  12. Baja Designs Awesome LP Series Support Thread

The question I have is your high beams turn on the LP4s and they are not street legal - do you turn off your high beams at the first sight of other headlights? Not very many winding roads were you live? How does that actually work while driving on the road (angry drivers flashing at you)?
  13. Baja Designs Awesome LP Series Support Thread

I would recommend the Amber SAE fogs in the bumper, in the heavy snow or fog they work really well, the stock white fogs actually make it worse if there is snow/fog on the road. I also have LP4's on the bumper in Amber and they are awesome.
  14. What Non-Factory Mod is Absolutely Worth Every Penny

6'1" and did try for about 10 minutes and realized the chiro will be a lot more expensive than having a tech install it for $40, worth it.
  15. What Non-Factory Mod is Absolutely Worth Every Penny

Either the MORE Dead pedal or the Tazer both are used every time I drive it.
  16. Heated steering wheel on new build?

  17. Let's see those 2-Door JL pics!

This is my first summer wheeling in CO, there was a guy in an older Rubicon with 31's and couldn't make it up the obstacle in the first pic, he said a few years ago he went right up but it has eroded a lot since then.
