  1. Installing Garmin or any Dashcam. Tap power from auto dim mirror

Hi PntBlk, Yes, there is a bolt that is there with a ground to chassis. I just saw that the video link to the installation was broken. I just fixed the link. Please watch the video at 5:00 minutes in and you will see how I mounted the spade to the ground wire and bolt it in to the chassis...
  2. Baja Design LP6 wiring complete circuit with Aux3 and Aux4 + Amber

Hi Stormymk The 15 amp fuse is not sufficient. Ready my #7 post where I passed the current through it and eventually blew the fuse. https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/baja-design-lp6-wiring-complete-circuit-with-aux3-and-aux4-amber.65919/#post-1403364
  3. Installing Garmin or any Dashcam. Tap power from auto dim mirror

I used the chassis ground only because it was convenient. If you find a ground wire, you can use it. Good luck.
  4. Anyone know California dealer who installs Gorilla Glass?

I ended up having Safelite replace with OEM regular glass. However, I did speak to the technician at Safelite and they said if Gorilla glass was available for my specific vin, they should be able to install it. I found out that Mopar Gorilla glass is not Available for Jeeps with active cruise...
  5. Anyone know California dealer who installs Gorilla Glass?

Got a crack in my 21 windshield. Thinking of going with Mopar Gorilla glass but none of the local dealers around me do glass work. Anyone know of any dealers in California? Thanks, RTC
  6. Another exhaust sound test. JEGS Turbo muffler on 3.6L

Hi Jason33. Here is the video I did for this Jegs muffler. Its pretty quiet compared to MBRP round can. Its actually longer than what is published on Jegs website but I was able to fit it in by trimming both the head and end pipe to accommodate. I also tested the very quiet custom ordered...
  7. Baja Design LP6 wiring complete circuit with Aux3 and Aux4 + Amber

ok, when you get it let us know. The harness that came with my LP6 kit was not plug and play and required I install a separate switch to turn hi/lo/off which I am not going to do since I already have the Aux switches. Thanks, RT
  8. Baja Design LP6 wiring complete circuit with Aux3 and Aux4 + Amber

I thought i would provide a demo of the LP6 and switches in action. Here is Jeep Headlights low beams only Jeep Headlights high beams only Baja Design LP6 low beams. No headlights. Baja Design LP6 high beams. No headlight. Here is a video of the switches in action. Aux 3 and Aux 4 Aux 3...
  9. Baja Design LP6 wiring complete circuit with Aux3 and Aux4 + Amber

Yes I omitted to reduce all those wires. It just gets too busy in the diagram. Good luck! RT
  10. Baja Design LP6 wiring complete circuit with Aux3 and Aux4 + Amber

Here is a simplified diagram showing the actual Relays and the supplied Deutsch connectors. Let me know if this helps. or if this is better: RT
  11. Baja Design LP6 wiring complete circuit with Aux3 and Aux4 + Amber

Here is a simplified diagram with views looking from the bottom of the relay. Very true and simplfied but with the 1 relay setup, you will need to keep Aux1 switched on to power either Lo or Hi. That method works, yes but the intent of the 2 relay was to be able to activate Hi beam with just...
  12. Baja Design LP6 wiring complete circuit with Aux3 and Aux4 + Amber

Note for others who may be trying to follow: This is referring back to the original design with aux3 and aux4. Does not apply to current aux1/aux2 revision. Just to clarify. 1st relay determines where to draw the current, either aux3 or aux4 depending on which is active or if both, it will pick...
  13. Baja Design LP6 wiring complete circuit with Aux3 and Aux4 + Amber

That is correct. The 1st diagram is for use with Aux1 and Aux2 because it will supply enough current and not blow the fuse. The 2nd diagram is what I have since switched and uses Aux3 and Aux 4. This 2nd diagram is how I rewired and is working also. Let me see if I can draw up something with...
  14. Another exhaust sound test. JEGS Turbo muffler on 3.6L

Hey, Big Hoss, I am sure it would sound just as good. I too shopped around for weeks, listening to each exhaust system on youtube and decided to go with MBRP because of the deeper tone. Their tubes are really good quality and the mandrel bends are perfect. Plus, the 19" MBRP muffler can is the...
  15. Another exhaust sound test. JEGS Turbo muffler on 3.6L

The MBRP system does fit the 2021. The MBRP Stock can sounded pretty good to me. But it was a bit loud for the backseat passengers (my teenage kids). So with that, I wanted to try different mufflers to see what each one would sound like. I went from Straight pipe MBRP system to Flow Master then...
  16. Another exhaust sound test. JEGS Turbo muffler on 3.6L

I really like the sound of this muffler. Quiet at low Idle and cold starts. A bit louder when on the gas but there are no drone or resonance in the cabin. The polished stainless looks really nice. It was the lightest stainless muffler I have tested so far, about 6 lbs. I mounted this on to my...
  17. Baja Design LP6 wiring complete circuit with Aux3 and Aux4 + Amber

After several days of testing I blew the fuse on the Aux3 and Aux4 so decided to measure the current drawn for Hi or Lo beams without any relay load. Low beams, both LP6 on: 10.4A High beams, both LP6 on: 25.8A It is apparent that Aux3 and Aux4 is not enough to power the LP6 because the inline...
  18. DIY Fire Extinguisher stainless mount on rear roll bar

Good point. I has been mounting them on the passenger on both my UTVs because I can just reach back to grab them. On the Jeep however, its a bit too far to reach from the dirver's seat. I probably should move it to the driver side. RT
  19. DIY Fire Extinguisher stainless mount on rear roll bar

I've always wanted to mount a fire extinguisher on to the Jeep's roll bar but just can not seem to find the wright looking one especially one that will use the Quick Release type that comes with the Extinguishers. I don't like complex or bulky contraptions or Velcro. This was the reason I...
  20. Baja Designs are Not JL Rubicon Install Friendly with their Harness

For those who are somewhat conformable with soldering and technical, here is a DIY writeup on a circuit that would allow the use of Aux3 and Aux4. This design insures Hi and Lo beams are never energized at the same time and Aux3 or Aux4 switch can be turn on independently or together. With the...
