  1. Loss of Power and Multiple Dash Lights

So the issue has been discovered!! About 2 months ago I was pretty rough on it in the snow and noticed a loss in power afterwards. I didnā€™t think it was connected to this most recent issue but now believe it is. Finally the day of the dealership appt. has rolled around. I am less than 3 years...
  2. Loss of Power from Engine

So the issue has been discovered!! Only took 2 monthsā€¦I decided to ignore the loss of power and sum it up to a rough day in the snow. Since then Iā€™ve gone out quite a bit and got it pretty muddy. Anyways..I was driving to work and it went into limp mode less than a mile away short trip to auto...
  3. Loss of Power and Multiple Dash Lights

Youā€™d think if they put a computer in it theyā€™d put automatic windows and locks. I wish they had kept everything simple not just the locks.
  4. Loss of Power and Multiple Dash Lights

Yeah I just didnā€™t want the hassle. What concerns me is it actually went into limp mode and drove completely wrong
  5. Loss of Power and Multiple Dash Lights

May have figured out a solution for the time being! I took it to a parts store to have the codes read and it drove just fine there and back and only showed the check engine light. The codes were P0017 and P061A so one for the camshaft position and the other for the ICM torque performance...
  6. Loss of Power and Multiple Dash Lights

I was driving to work got on the freeway so I was going 55-80 for miles got off at the exit drive about 2-3 miles going 35ish then I hear the service auto start/stop light come on. Ok thatā€™s fine itā€™ll probably clear. Then as Iā€™m slowing down to turn left at a light the throttle control light...
  7. Sway Bar disconnects

I think Iā€™ll go with the Lynx adjustable arms and the Teraflex front and rear adjustable track bars seem to be the best option. On quadratec the only dual rate springs I see are 2.5ā€ by super lift so Iā€™ll have to keep looking
  8. Sway Bar disconnects

Alright so Iā€™ll take the spacers out put new dual rate springs, adjustable front and rear track bars, get a control arm kit (adjustable, fixed, or long?), shocks for a 3.5ā€ lift and I think thatā€™s it unless I want to upgrade the steering components I guess.
  9. Sway Bar disconnects

Sounds good! I like the idea of putting together my own suspension lift rather than buying one with parts I donā€™t like. I have the Teraflex quick disconnects which fit a range of lift sizes so those should be good for a little while. I just donā€™t know how much of a lift keeping the 2.5ā€ spacers...
  10. Sway Bar disconnects

Thanks for the info! Iā€™m hoping for a 3.5ā€ lift in the future so if itā€™s around there with the 1.5ā€ springs thatā€™s great but it sounds like that requires me to get a track bar and adjustable lower control arms. I say 3.5ā€ because it it dragged so much in deep snow I had a friend strap me and...
  11. Sway Bar disconnects

I havenā€™t even looked into it yetā€¦ I just know I need dual rate because I drive it daily and need it to be pretty capable off-road. It really depends on what I need to go with the shocks and if itā€™ll work with the 2.5ā€ rough country spacers I have
  12. Sway Bar disconnects

I guess Iā€™ll call a few shops to ask them if they have an idea of what to do. So far Iā€™m thinking of getting lightly used rubicon shocks and buying new dual rate springs and keeping the spacers in so the lift height shouldnā€™t change too much unless the springs are much longer I guess..The point...
  13. Sway Bar disconnects

Thanks for the info Iā€™ll definitely be doing this once the weather clears up!
  14. Sway Bar disconnects

Especially in the summer with all the dust! I guess you just remove the seats and start pulling carpet up then cover other areas and start spraying..
  15. Sway Bar disconnects

Good idea! I need to do the same for sure..sounds like a huge project but next time I have a long weekend Iā€™ll plan on it.
  16. Sway Bar disconnects

Just a little side note I got in my Jeep this morning to a puddle of waterā€¦ And thatā€™s the carpet flooring not my mat..Iā€™ll be pulling the drain plug if I can find it. I hear thereā€™s a cutout in the carpet and itā€™s underneath.
  17. Sway Bar disconnects

Donā€™t you mean lady? Haha Thatā€™s pretty impressive I wish I had the space and knowledge to build one myself! A lot of my family were/are machinists and I work for a metal cutting tool distributor so I definitely have access and maybe one day šŸ¤ž
  18. Sway Bar disconnects

Looks pretty serious! I still have to drive mine to work daily and afford food so I canā€™t get too crazy šŸ˜‚ Once I upgrade the suspension a little and order the bumpers I finally found (less than 100lb each!) then get inner fenders and fender flares Iā€™ll be done for a little while šŸ˜…
  19. Sway Bar disconnects

Thanks! Now is that 1.5ā€ in addition to the 2.5ā€ I already have from the spacer lift? Sounds like springs and shocks are all I need so maybe Iā€™ll just take the guys shocks since I hear the JT springs are too long for the JL. Iā€™m thinking Iā€™ll have to find some dual rate springs but Iā€™m not sure...
  20. Gladiator Suspension on a JL Sport???

This was really helpful for me to see! I have to ask.. why did you get springs for a 1-1.5ā€ lift instead of a 2-2.5ā€ lift since the rubicon is about 2ā€? Do you have any idea where he got the adapters so the shocks could be mounted? I have a 2.5ā€ spacer lift from rugged ridge so Iā€™m thinking...
