    Where is this? Awesome pictures.
  2. Actual Short Gas Cap Tether Fix. (Takes 1 Minute)

Same. Our 2020 Freedom Edition didn't come with the nicer fuel door, so we added it. Also left with a tether that's too short. Thanks for the part number.
  3. Miscellaneous questions regarding tailgate strength and spare carrier fitment

Forgot to add... Fwiw, our wheels are 17" weigh 32 lbs 9.5" wide -18mm offset 4.5 bs and those tires are 35x12.5 weigh 66 lbs for a combined weight of 98 lbs The kit makes closing the tailgate feel just like before. It's heavy weight material and worth it for the peace of mind.
  4. Miscellaneous questions regarding tailgate strength and spare carrier fitment

We're please with this kit. We purchased from Northridge4x4 on sale for $425. It replaces the entire hinge, reinforces the tailgate, and addresses the possibility of the tire not fitting. Best bang for your buck in my opinion. I wrote a little about it here...
  5. Rugged Ridge Tire Carrier

Just so you're aware, the link you posted directed me to just the hinge reinforcement kit. The complete kit with tire carrier is typically about $100 more. We got the complete kit on sale for $425 from Northridge 4x4 Just installed this to support our new wheels and tires. It's beefy and...
  6. Washington Sold: 5 Jeep JL Special Edition Wheels and Tires 17" 245/75/R17 2000 Miles

$650 for all 5 wheels and tires. I only took a picture of one because that's all I had time for when Discount Tire wrapped them up in bags and loaded them up. There's 5. Selling as a package. Tires are like new, literally have just under 2000 miles on them. Slightly bigger than regular sport...

  8. How Can We Help?

Hello, I'm looking into investing in the longer front lower control arms found in the mopar lift kit part #: 68322798AA Still doing free shipping for forum members? Thank you and Happy Holidays!
  9. M200 upgrade to 32 spline locking differential and axles.

Did you not order your Jeep with the auxiliary switches? That'd be my first choice. If not, can you add the switch to that same location? Thank you for take a chance on this, I'm super interested and am looking forward to hear what you think about it and how it performs. 👍
  10. Let the shenanigans begin!

Looks great! Why do you say it's not the lift you were going for? Any future plans for new rubber?
  11. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

The wife printed this out! :)
  12. How do you stick your patches to top interior?

I use this: https://www.homedepot.com/p/3M-Scotch-1-in-x-1-in-Clear-Extreme-Fasteners-6-Sets-Pack-RFD7020/206180471 Works great! I apply the Velcro side to the patches and use the 3M tape side on the headliner. For the patches with tape on the backside, I just tape it directly up there.
  13. New JL Steering Issue TSB 08-074-20 (for "Improved Steering Feel")

Jeff, I was in your exact shoes and decide to have my local dealer order the parts for me anyway. Findlay Jeep in Post Falls, Idaho took great care of me. They ordered the parts (all of them to include bolts), notified me about 2 weeks later of their arrival, scheduled an appointment and even...
  14. Reaching my breaking point... may consider trading my JLUR

Not to sound like a broken record, but to me it seems quite obvious if you've replaced just about every other component - numerous times - the ball joints, and potentially the knuckles, appear to be the culprits. I've replaced ball joints in our 63 c10 and although it was messy and a project...
  15. West coast residents replace your air filters

Wow, that's pretty bad. I'll be checking ours shortly. Thanks for the heads up!
