Got mine mounted this afternoon. @Antidote Outdoors the only problem I had was the screws to the plates on the legs were too short. Had to take off the locking washers to get it on. Am I missing something? Probably will just go out and get a set of longer bolts.
My Antidote half rack is sitting in my garage just waiting for me to have some time to install it.
@Antidote Outdoors Any plans to release a wind diffuser? If not I'm going to start looking for an alternative solution.
Just watched the Antidote install video and they mention the corner supports there. They aren't pre-drilled because they are optional but add more rigidity to the rack.
Mine was delivered on Saturday but I was out of town. Install won't happen until this weekend.
Also got an LED light strip for the back glass for lighting up camp when up. All this will keep me out of trouble for a few days.
I was just on Rhino Rack's website looking for rack accessories thinking they should work on this platform. Hooo boy the prices! $200 for a recovery track bracket that is basically two pieces of metal and four bolts with knobs on the end.
I'm going to have to learn how to fabricate parts :CWL:
Lighter wallet myself. The more I looked at it the more I decided it would suit my needs perfectly. Easy mounting of accessories and enough storage roof box and recovery boards.
Same price for me shipped to Virginia.
Growing up, we mostly did side trails Rt. 33 West from Harrisonburg to WV. A good many trails there are closed now due to people trashing them. I have some spots in the George Washington National Forest closer to Staunton I go to now. Tend to do tamer trips then when I was young.
Seems...
Ordered 01/02. Got the call an hour before the dealer closed so it will be Monday or Tuesday until I can pick it up. Filthy from transport. Almost hate they will spend the time to clean the exterior because it will be even dirtier next weekend :CWL:
