I’m freaking torn between a new TRX or a 392 and trading my 3.0. Anyone offering a good deal on a 392? Willing to travel if need be. Granger in IA is selling TRX at 9k under once order banks open back up. Thanks
Picked up this camper at Gander RV in Tyler. Using the fastway E2 WDH. Not dialed in totally yet, but I over packed both the trailer and Jeep on purpose. It may be over 3500, just saying. Not promoting anyone do so. Drove it 10 miles as is, and with the curt echo and WDH, it towed smoother than...
I want my diesel feeling like it actually has pep in its step since I went to 37s. So I’m regearing. Plus I want to be able to tow my camper with no issues. Who else has regeared, what ratio, what brand, what was cost, and what fuel mileage did you end up with after? Was running 28-29 stock, and...
Had lift and 37s on for almost 2 months. Tazer installed, still maintaining 22-23 MPG, which im happy with. I’m wanting to tow a small camper. 3000# dry weight. Still in stock 3.73 gears. Should I regear? If so, what to? What are advantages to regearing? I know lots of us on here haven’t done so...
Just be honest lol. I’m curious. Who tows over the limit, and by how much? I know you’re not supposed to, don’t need to lecture. I’m simply curious as to who all does it, in their experiences towing have been.
It’s cold here in TX. -2 with a wind chill of -12 when I got up. He won’t crank. Never owned a diesel vehicle before. Any help? Open carport. Not a garage.
I have this Class III receiver picked out, does anyone know if it will fit on a Diesel model? I’ve heard some talk saying some receivers don’t work because of the exhaust components that are on the diesel that are not on the gas engine models. I need advice please thanks
I have the mopar tow package from factory. Class II as you all know. I have a camper picked out for purchase. 3033# dry weight. I am going to use WD hitch and anti-sway setup. My question: is the hitch receiver on my JL capable to be set up for a WD hitch? Or should I upgrade to a class III...
2020 JLU, 4160 miles, I got a notice on my dash that engine will not restart and 470 miles unless DEF is refilled. Just wondering where everyone is getting their’s. Thanks
Looking at either Evo enforcer 4.5” stage 3 lift, or stage 3 plus lift. Called Evo, they said enforcer plus is whats needed to properly lift Jeep. Plain stage 3 is “just for upgrade”. Maybe i should’ve gotten clarification. What’s differences? Wasn’t planning on dropping this much cash for lift...
Bought my JLU sport ecodiesel 3 months ago, and I’ve been modding it ever since. I’m sure some of y’all have seen my rig build thread. My question is: with a non rubicon model like mine, can I handle any/most rock crawling situations? I want to be able to take it once a year or maybe even less...
Anyone have suggestions on brands of sway bar disconnects for a JL sport? Figured I may as well have shop install this as well while they’re doing lift, wheels, and tires. Thanks in advance.
I know it’ll be easier to install the winch on the bumper easier with the bumper off, but I have zero help to hang 180#. I can hang the 100# bumper myself, and then install the winch, but is that possible? Bumpers are here, haven’t gotten instructions out yet.
Settled on a Warn for sure, but don’t know what size? Never used a winch, don’t plan on doing much off-roading if any at all, but what y’all think?
This will be a slow process for me. First Jeep. 2020 wrangler sport with the 3.0 ecodiesel. Had a 4 door Badlands Bronco reservation placed until I knew the wrangler could be had with a Diesel engine. This is my first “fun” vehicle, as most others were daily drivers for work and that was it. Had...
If not, what LED bulb would work to upgrade from halogen? I found good LED bulbs for fog and headlights, and have them in hand. Just need fender lights. Thanks for the help.
