you total plonker Jromanmd, you took the time to respond with that. Ofcourse, the answer to almost every question is available on the web, but that's why we have forums; to help each other, share options and ideas? I wanted to hear from folks with experience on battery choice.
I am based in...
Just to add, it sounds like you may be confusing a TSB with a recall. A technical support bulletin is there for dealers to help fix known issues / bugs. A recall is forced on manurfactures when a fault affects every car and usually is a serious safety concern.
This is true in the UK and sucks, I proactively review all TSBs (there are lots) and flag to the dealer the ones to apply. If bought to their attention, they can't refuse. Obviously post repair you have no recourse as legally they don't have to notify for a TSB, only an official recall in...
Yes, my 2019 JL just had 2 new doors, new hinges with upgraded shims. Total 7k under warranty, but I had to fight with Jeep care, all sorts of threats about small claims court. My hinges had bubbling, and some minor bubbling on the bottom inber door hem flange.
Was at Palmers Jeep dealer in Hemel Hempstead . They had 7 used JL Wrangerls for sale from 2019-2022 model year. I took the chance to inspect the hinges on all of them.
The 2019 and 2020 models all had rust bubbling around the hinges! The 2021-2022 models were not bubbling yet, only a...
2nd the rust bubbles on hinges and bottom of doors, my 2019 Wrangler JL now suffers from these, currently in for repair. There is a TSB for this so get them fixed well before the 5 years corrosion warranty is up!!
Fingers crossed they replace the doors rather than repair. Pitting to the bare...
HI Guys,
Anyone else got suggestions on tyres, highway for road hadnling no off road(its the wifes run around - dont ask!). Let me know what you have fitted and if happy with them ?
The Dulcer tyres fitted are paaa for handling, they are an on-road high tyre. A/T all terrain not interested...
Thanks they look like an A/T All Terrain tire, could be good, the Dulcer tire I have from factory are stamped H/T highway terrain. So will look more towards the H/T for grip and performance on road, like I say my wife never goes off road, well only when she is parking
Thanks, I have ditched the chunky idea, 100% focusing on grip and road handling. There is too much choice! If anyone has bought highway road tyres (no off road) and are happy with their performance, handling, grip and comfort (I know this is personal choice) can you please let me which tyre...
There is too much choice, I hate that! So chunky is out the window, 100% focusing on highway on-road handling, which is the best tyre/tire. My wife never knowingly drives off-road, so handling is the main aim with minimal road noise. Why did Jeep fit Dulcer from factory?
hi guys
Its finally time to replace my stock tyres - Dulcer Bridgestone H/T 255 70 R18. This is my wifes car and not used for off-road - I know! The standard tyres are ok, but handling is crappy.
Main goal from the new tyres is handling and grip on road. She would like something that looks...
