I had the same issue, though mine also was throwing the “Service Electronic Throttle Control”. When it threw the CEL, it would tamp down the throttle if the engine rpms got over 3000 rpm, or so it seemed. The fix ended up being a) a new temp sensor and b) when they checked the wiring they found...

Also PM'd JeepCares, as my dealer is trying to tell me that the TSB is VIN specific (it's not, at least how I read it) and has to be inspected. They are refusing to do the work until they have "inspected" this.
