I had the same issue, though mine also was throwing the “Service Electronic Throttle Control”. When it threw the CEL, it would tamp down the throttle if the engine rpms got over 3000 rpm, or so it seemed.
The fix ended up being a) a new temp sensor and b) when they checked the wiring they found...
Unfortunately, 750 miles and I've had problems.. I had a CEL (For Service Electronic Throttle Control) on the first day I drove it home. It's now back at the dealer, and has been there for 4 weeks waiting on parts. I'm trying to decide if I lemon law it, or hope that the fix is correct...
Had...
Just wondering if either of you tried Palmer Dodge? I had bad experiences with them back in early 2000's, but I keep hearing that they are very solid.
I'm hoping that I get my own Jeep back soon and that it's actually fixed...but I am looking for a North Atlanta dealer to do my regular...
PCM board, then a sensor....but they are finding that wiring harnesses weren't all connected completely.. which was causing intermittent error (errored in the morning when it was cold, more or less went away in the afternoon when it was warm)....
Electrical/wiring issues worry me, because...
I've been working with Scott. So far, so good. I live up in Alpharetta though, so it's a haul for me to go down there.. However, they had what I was looking for at the time.... I was planning to wait for a 2021....
Planning on contacting Ray...hoping he can do something
I'm sorry to hear about your experience.. In fact, my BRAND SPANKING NEW JLUSD (seriously, only has 700 miles on it) is sitting at Newnan right now for the CEL for the ETC.. Been there almost a month... waiting on parts.
My experience has been a little better than yours, at least my Service...
So now I want make sure I that I’m not crazy, and that this is an example of loose steering. I think it is, however I’m coming from another FCA car - Alfa Romeo Stelvio.
88 deg F. 45 mph. Same, if not a little worse, at higher speeds
Also PM'd JeepCares, as my dealer is trying to tell me that the TSB is VIN specific (it's not, at least how I read it) and has to be inspected. They are refusing to do the work until they have "inspected" this.
Hey All!
First time Jeep owner. Went all in with a 2020 Sahara ecoDiesel in Billet Silver. Traded in my FCA car, an Alfa Romeo Stelvio. The Jeep is a totally different feel, and I love it. Went with the one touch sky-power roof too, which I’m finding I like far more than I thought
Since I’m going through this now with my brand new JL eco diesel, just wondering what the fix in your case was and has it stayed “fixed”. We get the “bad” on the forums and sometimes it helps to see where things just got....well.... fixed
I’m like you, as long as they are confident they fix...
I spoke too soon, it appears. CEL for Service Electronic Throttle control came back on again after a short (less than 2 mile) drive. Sigh. It’s back at the dealer and they’re trying to figure out what the issue is.
I haven’t even owned it a week. I’m hopeful they figure out the issue. I know on...
I have a brand new JL ecoDiesel.. didn't even have 100 miles on it and had the "Service Electronic Throttle control" message pop on... Figured I would check the fuses after reading here, and low and behold, MANY of the larger fuses were not seated properly. That seems to have fixed it and the...
