  1. Paint bubbling around the door hinges - well documented in the US but has anyone experienced this in Australia?

You know, i'd be curious to know why it happens and if the fix is actually a proper fix

  3. Paint bubbling around the door hinges - well documented in the US but has anyone experienced this in Australia?

Thanks for the update, much appreciated. Mine is going in for the inspection tomorrow. Out of curiosity, how long did they take for the repair?

A lucky person that has LHD ...
  5. Anyone irritated by the size of the footwell?

Definitely cramped on a RHD vehicle - shame, but one can only dream of a LHD with a dead mans pedal
  6. Paint bubbling around the door hinges - well documented in the US but has anyone experienced this in Australia?

Hey Jen Sorry to hear about your issue but i'm quite certain you wont be the last. I'm far from being an expert but your JL should still be under warranty regardless of whether its 2nd or even 3rd hand. The paint issue is a manufacturing fault, which they probably havent fixed, so those 2019...
  7. Paint bubbling around the door hinges - well documented in the US but has anyone experienced this in Australia?

Thanks mate, your response is much appreciated. I've literally started the ball rolling this morning with an email to the dealership. Very handy to know of 1 other case (yours) already.
  8. Paint bubbling around the door hinges - well documented in the US but has anyone experienced this in Australia?

Hi There, I'm about to embark on (hopefully) an easy process, and lets face it, its not a rare topic on this forum. However, I'm extremely keen to know if fellow Aussies have gone through the bubbling paint issue yet, and their experience of this process. I've also checked the hinges for the...

If you go ahead, please let me know how it works out for you!
  10. Anyone irritated by the size of the footwell?

Now I feel a tad greedy for wanting more space - you seem to have no problem 🤔.
  11. Anyone irritated by the size of the footwell?

Its all to do with the space between the break pedal and the sides of the centre console. If it was a left hand drive, the additional space would be amazing.
  12. Anyone irritated by the size of the footwell?

I love my Jeep, but can't help lament about the size of the footwell (for right hand drives), especially when going on longer trips. I don't have the biggest feet (size 9) but often wonder how others cope with such a small space. There was a US thread not too long ago where members were...
  13. Is driving with the top down (or off) a deterrent for speeding?

Very handy Very handy to know, thank you :)
  14. Is driving with the top down (or off) a deterrent for speeding?

I've not got caught in the rain (yet) but i know its a matter of time, and when that happens i'm not sure what i'll do; 1) become a lead-foot and find shelter 2) resign myself to my fate as you only get wet once
  15. Is driving with the top down (or off) a deterrent for speeding?

Damn! I rest my case Those fine examples look like they'd also fit the brief :)
  16. Is driving with the top down (or off) a deterrent for speeding?

I'm hearing you there! This may be my first Jeep but i love it more every time i drive out the garage :involve:
  17. Is driving with the top down (or off) a deterrent for speeding?

I must admit, i've wondered what its like to ride 2 wheels, with plenty of chrome, whitewall tyres, and a roar that'll wake the dead
  18. Is driving with the top down (or off) a deterrent for speeding?

My soft top comes down whenever there's an opportunity; something that's becoming less frequent as the Southern hemisphere enters the colder months. I've found, particularly today, as i was hooning down the coast, that i didn't care if i was 10-20km/h below the speed limit, let alone on par -...
  19. Who has a soft top but can't buy a window storage bag from Jeep Parts Australia?

I don't mind being one of the guys!
  20. Who has a soft top but can't buy a window storage bag from Jeep Parts Australia?

Not Originally from London but The Shire is not a bad spot to call home :involve:. Haven't seen too many JLs on the road, and those that I do, are mainly 4-door.
