@OBD, Appreciate your valuable response, this is what my friends are doing now with their JLs, oil catch can and can of sea foam spray top engine cleaner every once in a while. They used to have the noise and it's gone now for some and reduced to bare minimum for others, saved them from a big...
As I mentioned earlier, I have never installed an oil catch can in any of my vehicles, only in JL, Yes it will not stop anything from happening but will help reduce the amount of oil that goes through faulty PCV.
I understand you sir, but believe it or not, i never ever used an oil catch can in any vehicles i owned and I own now, only for the JL when this issue happened and it worked great for me. Never used it and never happened in a JK, but unfortunately what went wrong with 3.6 pentastar upgrade, not...
Appreciate your response, but believe it or not, i never ever used an oil catch can in any vehicles i owned and I own now, only for the JL when this issue happened and it worked great for me. By the way I sold the JL.

Hi everyone, started hearing this noise since yesterday, whenever i turn off the engine this clunk noise comes from underneath. The Jeep has 36000 miles and never heard this before until yesterday. 2020 JL 3.6 2 door sport S.
I heard the noise first at 7000 miles. First repair was at 14000 miles using Bluchem Carbon X by the dealer but no luck. The major repair was by removing the cylinder heads at 26700 miles. now Jeep has 28200 miles and so far so good

So i was experiencing a pre detonation with my 2020 3.6, took it to the dealer first they tried to clean up the combustion chamber with a cleaner but unfortunately that didn't work. So next step they had to remove the cylinder heads to reach the pistons to clean them and replacing...
