Definitely doesn’t use 8th gear much unless I’m on the freeway. But even then, seems like fuel economy could be better at 75-80 than it is.

I drive on the freeway enough that I’d love to have a little better economy. I wanted bigger tires because of the off road capability, and let’s be real... they look badass.

I am on 39’s with stock 3.73. I am probably going to re gear at some point to 4.56 simply to get close to stock ratios again for fuel economy and proper HP and torque. I’m off by 16% on 39’s which is technically ~4.27’s, so I figure if I go to a 40” or 42” I’ll likely want to be close to that...

I’m thinking I’ll probably re gear to 4.56 one of these days, but I definitely don’t feel any type of rush. It does crawl perfectly off road.

I got Confirmation from Jeep chat that my Jeep has shipped, ordered 8/12/20 and has an estimated arrival at the dealer “9/28-10/12”

And it’s in shipping now! From Monday to now it went from scheduled to shipping.

I believe it if it’s a diesel. That just leaves ~$7000 in markup after tires and rims and Mopar lift.

If it were a rubicon, maybe. Don’t do it for a Sahara on 20” rims. Good looking Jeep, but like rick said, you will be able to build your own for cheaper, and get exactly what you want. That jeep looks like they maybe put $3000 total into lift, tires, rims, and cheap side steps. I’m trying to...

What day did you order?

Dealer told me today the estimated ship date is 9/15/20. I ordered 8/12/20. Hopefully that means they are catching up at the factory! Still takes 2-3 weeks after they ship to arrive here in Utah.

10 weeks From order to delivery?! Ouch. Crazy how long they are taking. Waiting for my Jeep is like watching grass grow. They told me 8 weeks, that was 8/12/20. Really hoping it doesn’t take 10 weeks.
