I drive on the freeway enough that I’d love to have a little better economy. I wanted bigger tires because of the off road capability, and let’s be real... they look badass.
The BFG regional rep guy who runs local shop here in Salt Lake City told me he thought getting back to factory gear ratios should bring my fuel economy back up a bit. I don’t feel a lack of power or torque at all really. But he said it’s kind of like towing a trailer around all the time pushing...
I am on 39’s with stock 3.73. I am probably going to re gear at some point to 4.56 simply to get close to stock ratios again for fuel economy and proper HP and torque. I’m off by 16% on 39’s which is technically ~4.27’s, so I figure if I go to a 40” or 42” I’ll likely want to be close to that...
2021 with 5700 miles on it. Pushing 39” KM3’s for 5000 miles, with no re gear as of yet, and you can’t even tell you’re on bigger tires. This motor is amazing! I get 20+Mpg around town, 22+ on the freeway... and diesel at Costco here in Utah is about the same price as regular unleaded. No...
If it were a rubicon, maybe. Don’t do it for a Sahara on 20” rims. Good looking Jeep, but like rick said, you will be able to build your own for cheaper, and get exactly what you want. That jeep looks like they maybe put $3000 total into lift, tires, rims, and cheap side steps. I’m trying to...
West Motor Company in Preston, Idaho (I live in Salt Lake City) gave me $2000 less than MSRP, and a LIFETIME power train warranty! Can’t recommend them enough!
Dealer told me today the estimated ship date is 9/15/20. I ordered 8/12/20. Hopefully that means they are catching up at the factory!
Still takes 2-3 weeks after they ship to arrive here in Utah.
10 weeks From order to delivery?! Ouch. Crazy how long they are taking. Waiting for my Jeep is like watching grass grow. They told me 8 weeks, that was 8/12/20. Really hoping it doesn’t take 10 weeks.
