Do you HAVE to get a lift kit added on a 2020 Jeep Wrangler unlimited Sahara if you put 35" tires on it? Also will you need to regear/calibrate anything if adding the 35's?

I'm pretty confident it was shut tight..I didn't see any "open door" lights.

Anyone else experienced the Jeep NOT wanting to go into any gear?! I was stuck for awhile with a message on the dash saying .."vehicle not in park..shift to park then to a gear" ( not that EXACT saying but something similar. Any advise?
