  1. Creaking sound from driver side pillar

Well, I can tell you that the bolt trick did not work for me. I ordered the recommended bolts and unbolted the affected side of the sky top just enough to get the hard top bolt installed. The annoying creak persists. If driving at steady speed, there's not creak, not even when I hit a bump...
  2. Creaking sound from driver side pillar

I can see that the bolts are not there. I have the Sky Top and I'm concerned about unbolting it and lifting one side enough to get the hard top bolt installed. I'm still surprised that the creak isn't on both sides. Neither side as the hard top bolt (which isn't shocking since this top...
  3. Creaking sound from driver side pillar

Any other Sky Top owners having this issue? For the hard top owners, any thoughts as to how the Sky Top owners can address this issue?
  4. Creaking sound from driver side pillar

  5. Sky one touch roof rattle?

Is your rattle all the time or only when the sky top is open? There's posts about this on the JL Facebook group as well.
  6. Sky one touch roof rattle?

OP, has your rattle come back? I have the same issue now. It started after about 1500 miles. It only rattles when the top is open. If you could post a pic of the repair location, that would be great.
  7. North Carolina Roll Call

Thanks everyone. RM is pretty close so I'll have to check that out. The beach was great for a while (no issues - never had to air down, never got stuck...but saw LOTs of trucks that did), but we moved back to Raleigh (happy about that) and now I'm looking for rocks or mud.
  8. North Carolina Roll Call

Brian here checking in from Raleigh, NC. Nearly all of the first 500 miles were on beach sand, but now mostly pavement. Would love to learn about any trails in NC.
