Have you received any customer pictures of the Matte Black edition dash installed? Also have you made a matte gray in the Jeep Sting Gray color? Thank you
Nina Barlow would run circles around you with her extensive knowledge of Jeeps. Wonder why Jeep goes to her whenever they’re in Arizona or Utah to test things out? 🤔 But you probably know more than someone like that, since you’re on a Jeep forum not actually sitting next to a Jeep engineer out...
A few changes since I got it back in August. Thinking about switching my fenders back to stock. Kind of like the look more. I love my Recon and it’s capabilities off-road
They lasted my 14 hour drive there and 3 days of continuous off-road use. I need to make a small adjustment, because I think I didn’t install them correctly. They squeaked a little off road. Other than that, they’re great. Unfortunately they come in a pair and I have a roof ladder on one side...
I definitely want to invest in recovery gear. Still researching what works best for my needs. I’m trying to take a little break though. I went crazy the last 2 months buying things.
Yes sir. That was an amazing trail. Also did Fins and Things and Tip Toe Back Door. At least that’s what someone called it. Lol. Couldn’t pass up that great photo op with the tripod Jeep
Nope. Didn’t directly line up with it. The Maximus-3 pioneer platform is 54” and the rhino rack one is 56”. So it sits a little further in. I just manhandled it a little and now it’s good.
Looks great. I just used longer bolts and they eventually came together with the base. It’s not moving at all. Great choice in wheels too!! Great minds think alike.
No way to access the bottom nuts without popping off the side panel. One small screw and some elbow grease. There’s some videos on YouTube that show you how to remove the inner paneling.
Honestly I don’t hear much more than the usual interior sound of a Jeep. I’m also always playing music, so that probably helps drown out any extra noise. I certainly haven’t heard any whistling yet.
Just installed it today. Not sure why people think they don’t have to drill? There is no other way to mount the lower bracket to the Jeep. If you have spacers on your low profile legs, you will need spacers on the bracket. 1/2”-3/4” at most. 2” is crazy. That must be for the regular height legs...
Did you have to drill into your backbone frame for the ladder bracket? If so, could you also post pics of that? I would be very appreciative. I’m getting mine delivered today and I’m a complete novice to all of this.
