I took delivery of the Willys on Oct 1, '20 and already have 11,300 miles on her. She's my daily driver, commuter and rolling office. With that many miles on it in 4-1/2 months I wouldn't call the sky one touch loud but it's certainly not a quiet ride.
I came across this thread a couple of...
This is the list of current part numbers if you have blind spot monitoring.
I ordered everything from All Mopar Parts on Sept 1. Everything showed up in one box this past week. I had forgotten about it and was pretty confused when I saw the box on the porch.
Install next week!!
Do you still have the whole package?
I'd be happy to Venmo now and have my daughter or son-in-law pick up at your convenience. They're in N. Austin/Round Rock area.
I ordered the same part numbers and same quantities on 1 Sep. Hopefully allmoparparts has high enough sales volume to warrant priority fulfillment of their back ordered items.
You can order exactly what you want for $44-45k plus tax. I've attached a spreadsheet with what you selected.
I ordered a couple of weeks ago from Kent Shurtleff at Peterson in Nampa, Idaho. The deal was 8% under invoice or about 12% under sticker. That includes the Tread Lightly discount...
I'm about 90% sure you can do only the one door. I'll be ordering the parts soon to do mine as well.
BTW, I just joined the site as well and have found a lot of good info here. There are a few ass clowns who think it's their place to point out all your shortcomings, faults and failures but...
I wouldn't see why not. Its probably not easy nor something you would want to do on a regular basis but I can't imagine its a permanent part of the body that can't be removed.
I just meant if the thing is a real PITA or would potentially cost a small fortune to repair or replace at some point...
It's a done deal. We went with the Sun and Sound package / Sky One Touch. The top gets really good reviews and you know, what the hell, try something new! Worst case scenario is I hate it and replace it with a regular hardtop sometime in the future.
I have to give a huge thumbs up to Kent...
Thanks a million!
Now we have a problem. The wife wants, and has always quietly wanted the sky one touch. She now has ammo. I'm in trouble. I don't hate it. I'm just concerned about it's long term viability and what will it take to replace the material in a few years. What will the repair...
Same feelings from me and count me as a guy who was really excited about the 3.0 and planned on buying one this fall. I've owned diesel vehicles and equipment and have done all my own wrenching for 40 years. They've gotten far too expensive, far too complicated, and far too unreliable. The...
PangMaster... Would you mind sharing who you're working with and how long ago that order was created?
I'm working with Kent Shurtleff (by phone and email) at Peterson in Nampa, Idaho. He created my order for a 22W Willys package about an hour ago and it would not allow him to select the 8.4"...
Jason,
I want the set and just sent you a message with contact info.
Let's get in touch so I can provide payment info and a shipping address.
Thanks!!
Please disregard. I jumped the gun and didn't realize these wiring harnesses were for non BSM applications.
Sorry for the confusion
Please post any info you get regarding the 8.4 in the Willys. That combo really made me happy.
I have a dealer working on a price for a Willys with all the bells and whistles. I'll let you know what I find out as well.
I saw a Granite Rubicon on the lot at Champion in Gulfport 3 days ago. Its not on their website. I stopped to look at the sticker but was intercepted by a young sales associate. I left without any information.
It may be worth a phone call.
Gazelle and fczabala,
Thanks a million for taking the time to put those worksheets together. We're in the market for a new diesel and being able to save and compare several builds has certainly helped.
I found this forum on a random search for invoice prices to try and negotiate with a...
