  1. Mopar Doors-off Mirror Kit announced for Jeep Wrangler and Jeep Gladiator

Gang. In case someone was wondering how well these are made or how they mount and look, attached are a few pics of our Jeep. No doubt they are pricey but they are well made and feel like the standard mirrors. The kit comes with everything you need to mount them. Some minor assembly is required...
  2. Mopar Doors-off Mirror Kit announced for Jeep Wrangler and Jeep Gladiator

I highly doubt they will EVER release a doors off mirror kit with blind spot detection. How would you run the electrical/signaling to support the function? Only way I would see this possible is with some sort of wireless connection like Bluetooth and batteries in the mirrors. That's a tall...
  3. Mopar Doors-off Mirror Kit announced for Jeep Wrangler and Jeep Gladiator

Thx for sharing the additional pic. Bam wholesale parts in OH is $235. Bought from them before. Quick and reputable. Good quality 3rd party is $150-$160. These are big, well designed mirrors to which YES... U are paying the Jeep premium but I don't think it's completely out of line if u aren't...

  5. Doors Off Mirror Options (EMP or Mopar?)

I emailed the company and asked for an install manual in PDF (acrobat). He says they don't have one which I found surprising. He said that you simply remove the bolt from the panel between the hood and a-pillar and the mirror just screws into that hole so it looks elegant. Prob better than...
  6. Rampage Tonneau Cover?

Bought both Windbreaker and Tonneau cover. I've yet to use the Windbreaker, but the quality and fit of the tonneau is well above my expectations - A solid, will made piece and it does not flap in the wind but it does help with prying eyes in the parking lot. The only reason I bought it.
  7. Doors Off Mirror Options (EMP or Mopar?)

Hey Gang. Looking at getting a doors off mirror kit. I really don't like the look of most of them which remind me of a 1970's pick-up truck. (those with a large rectangle and triangular bracket). I have also heard that many of the inexpensive mirrors tend to bounce or vibrate in the wind. I am...
  8. Mopar Doors-off Mirror Kit announced for Jeep Wrangler and Jeep Gladiator

Thanks for posting these pics. It's a much better visual than the single picture I've found so far showing it connected to the light bracket. Do you have any other pics of them mounted? Also, any concern that someone could easily remove them to steal or are they well secured. Expensive...
  9. JL Window Sticker and Build Sheet Order Tracking

UPDATE: OK - so it looks like the order date provided does not matter. The algorithm works and I was able to get a link to both the Build Sheet and VIN. THANKS!
  10. JL Window Sticker and Build Sheet Order Tracking

Team: I have searched for my answer through some of this, but with 478 pages of replies, it has become a monumental task. Perhaps this could be answered in a sticky for everyone's benefit? We bought our JLU Rubicon off the dealer lot 3 weeks ago. I know the VIN and Build Date. I have a PDF of...
  11. Topsy Products Coupon Code or Promos?

Hey there. I am looking to order a few things from Topsy - JL straps and bracket kit and possibly the stack, rack and roll plate. Just wondering if Topsy ever has promotions or a code for free shipping? I am new to the Jeep scene so not sure what to expect. Understand if you have a code but...
  12. DIY Hardtop hoist ideas - brainstorming

Wow! That's a pretty nice lift. New Rubi -1st time Jeep owner for 2 weeks now. I was going to follow your advice but having a darn tough time finding a Rancor lift. AMZ is OOS and they are sole source unless you want to spend $500+ w price gougers. I will DIY but I want your build! Or something...
  13. Anyone have the Rampage 90435 California Brief top? Need Clarification

Thanks for sharing the pic. Helps me understand how it fits - wow! What a steal for $45! Makes me even more angry. LOL.. Just kidding.. Oh well - at least I can say I didn't miss the deal when it was out of stock since we bought our JL 2 weeks ago. I see it elsewhere for $94 - maybe I should buy...
  14. Anyone have the Rampage 90435 California Brief top? Need Clarification

Thanks. Did you get a header with your top? If not, which one did you buy? Or do you have the factory soft top?
  15. Anyone have the Rampage 90435 California Brief top? Need Clarification

UPDATE: I just spoke w Rampage and they clarified a few things. -The 90435 is indeed a 1 piece California top and the windshield channel is included. Their website listed is for $44.99 which was a "too good to be true" price and it was.. Somehow from the time I called to the time I spoke with...
  16. JLU Rampage Windbreaker + Tonneau cover vs Bestop Windjammer + Duster -Water resistance w Safari Top

wow -thanks! I see this addresses my concern behind the rear doors nicely. I wish I'd seen that option but we'll see how it goes or maybe I'll try to sell the Rampage pieces locally. Only thing I wonder in this config is they expect a factory soft top and I don't have that so not sure if it's...
  17. What side steps / rock rails to add to JL Wrangler?

There is definitely no red "permanent" loctite on these bolts. The would never use red loctite for a body part that could have to be replaced due to damage. In fact, on my Rubicon rock rail bolts, there was not even blue loctite. The nuts and washers are etched and not flat so they are designed...
  18. What side steps / rock rails to add to JL Wrangler?

I did these on a Rubicon. I like that the OEM Rock rails covered the gap, not exposing the sheet metal to frame but my wife struggled to get in as the Rubi is a bit high. I ordered these Mopar Steps as I saw the following Rubi with them installed and liked the look. UNFORTUNATELY, as others...
  19. Anyone have the Rampage 90435 California Brief top? Need Clarification

Gang: There seems to be a ton of conflicting info on this product so hoping someone has one and can confirm as well as give me an opinion on the quality. The Rampage website description for part 90435 appears to be a 1 piece with the windshield channel included for $44.99 - quite a low price...
