  1. Speaker on Rear carrier - purpose?

Does the system turn off the speakers when in 4lo? I don’t recall the ocean sound when I was crawling last time but don’t specifically recall since I wasn’t listening for it. Headed out later this week I’ll check and see.

  5. Speaker on Rear carrier - purpose?

Started to put my new spare tire carrier on and in the process I ran into the small speaker stuck up under the tire carrier (part #685296554aa). What is this for? I am not sure I have heard the Jeep transmitting sound. Is it for Jeeps that go to countries I think some require electrics to emit...
  6. Help! Stability Control error after work

So very interesting. Pulled the sensor out cleaned it again and checked the wire. Looked good. Tried to bleed the line again and depressing the peddle with the valve open, NO Fluid came out the tube. Went and got a bleeder pump and with the pump pulled a good amount of fluid out. Through...
  7. Help! Stability Control error after work

Any help would be appreciated. Have 2022 2.0L 4xe. Somehow had a broken lug bolt on the right rear wheel. Took it apart to replace the bolt/stud. This entailed removing the caliper and caliper bracket to remove the disc. Once in I realized I needed to move the wheel hub to orient the stud...

And the plot thickens…. Later today I’ll drain and pop the cover see what we find….
  9. Rear inner axle seal

There definitely is an outer axle seal toward the wheel bearing/hub. Think there is an inner seal too that keeps the fluid in the pumpkin by all the bearings and gears in the diff. Guess I’ll have to pop the cover and check it out. I’ll post what I find and if I ever happen to find a part...

That was my recollection can’t find a listing for part on online schematics and neither can the dealer
  11. Rear inner axle seal

Replaced my axles with chromoly. I’m doing so initially ordered the wrong axle (non rubi axle shaft not rubi). Resulted in needing to remove the axles and replace with the correct size. The issue is that when removing the driver side I found diff oil in the tube but not in the passenger side...

Do not have the factory/oem skid plate though can be obtained. The tow bar has a skid plate to marry the tow bar to the factory bumper. See link in the original post.

    Inferior German plastic.....
  14. Wisconsin OEM Steel Bumper, ATP winch plate and Demco tow plate $900

Selling the bumper, the winch plate (and the tow bar) but not the winch correct. That transferred over to the new bumper. Factory bumper is still available. Let me know.
  15. diesel 3.0 or wait for V8 392

Owner bias..... Have had my diesel for 3 months..... I love the sound of a throaty V8 as you stomp the pedal to the floor roar down the onramp and listen to it sing..... That said I don’t see my Jeep as an exotic sports car. Ridden with many LS v8 swaps and they sound great on startup but...
