i ordered a carlinkit 4.0 and all the parts listed in the first post. If I install it as directed will I loose the ability to use the center counsel usb? I have a usb stick with all my music in that one. Thanks for all the info!

I’d get a screen protector for radio and put it on right away. Never have to worry about it ever again.

Don’t forget to practice putting it in 4L... put it in neutral while moving 2-3 mph and then move lever to 4L. You can do it in parking lot just don’t try to turn.…otherwise find really loose dirt/gravel/sand. Lever will also get easier to move as you do it more.

I agree with srt20...just get another device that will serve you better in so many other ways than just in the car. As they get older they aren’t going to agree to watch the same show/movie.

I have this one. Went on easy and looks nice. It is shinny but not in a bad way...it can be seen during full sun with top down. I got it because we spend a lot of time at beach and sand is everywhere.

This looks awesome! How far does it come down into cabin? In you pics/video it looks like it doesn’t come below the white roof piece. Can you verify this? You should post a picture to show how much space is left between headliner and sound bar when roof is closed.
