Thanks. I actually drive reasonably careful. I notice the rear end sliding out often in the rain, especially when going downhill. Was wondering if 4Hi is better but it seems to invite other issues. I'll just go a little slower from now on.

They are Nitto Ridge Grapplers with probably 80%of the tread left. I think it's plenty of tread depth to channel the water from the rain. I really drive somewhat carefully. I notice the sliding the most from the rear end coming downhill in the rain

Sort of related to this thread: does anyone drive 4H in just plain-old rain on pavement? My Jeep is all over the place in the rain in 2H especially if traveling downhill
