I know this is an old post, but couldn't really find much info.
As it turns out in my 2019 JLUR, I had to install the bracket on top of the TRMS rail. But, the Tuffy enclosure still installed fine.
But yeah, now I have a bracket in the middle of the rails.
my 2019 does has the same "tornado warning siren" sounding fan as well, when it is pretty hot outside. Hope sometime there is fix for a quieter fan (or whatever it is).
The ESS is pretty seamless with the 2.0L I have in my JLUR. By the time I lift my foot off the brake and over to the gas pedal, the engine is started and ready to go. If I am doing a lot of stop/starting, I will disable it. Or sitting stopped for a extended period of time and the A/C stops...
