  1. My Cheap Essential Offroading Equipment / Gear List

That makes sense. Most of the breaks I've seen were people driving like they were in a trophy truck. There's a reason those things are $1M+.
  2. My Cheap Essential Offroading Equipment / Gear List

I think the majority of people won't be doing much offroading that would require crazy fixes. I imagine that the people posting more repair kit stuff are doing harder than average trails and pushing their Jeep to the limits and are more experienced/advanced off-roaders. They won't mind carrying...
  3. My Cheap Essential Offroading Equipment / Gear List

Those look so good, I wish they were in the price range of cheap gear. But they look heavy duty and built to last.
  4. My Cheap Essential Offroading Equipment / Gear List

Yeah I have a few wraps of these laying around. I wish I remembered the name we called it, but there's at least a 50% chance it would be inappropriate to post. It takes a few hours but is well worth it when it comes time to actually use some of it.
  5. My Cheap Essential Offroading Equipment / Gear List

I think my plan will be assemble a list of the tools used in trail fix write-ups/manuals/etc so I can get only the stuff that I need and carry nothing that I don't need, and print all the fix instructions out to keep inside the toolbag. Then anyone will be able to make the fixes and have the...
  6. My Cheap Essential Offroading Equipment / Gear List

I left this one off the list for those that might not be as mechanically inclined. Does anyone sell a kit that only comes with just the sockets/torx bits/etc for Jeep trail repairs? Or even just a list to put together our own? It would be nice to have a Jeep kit that can stay in there or its own...
  7. My Cheap Essential Offroading Equipment / Gear List

Good ones! Such a staple that I forgot to put them on the list. I guess some wd-40 or grease should also be on there for the other end of things that should/shouldn't move.
  8. My Cheap Essential Offroading Equipment / Gear List

That's a good one that I should have mentioned! I blame my home base being a desert for leaving that one out. My favorite is a poncho because you can tie the hood to make it a tarp too, and it's easy to take on and off.
  9. My Cheap Essential Offroading Equipment / Gear List

I'm assembling a list of mostly cheap (under $100) things that I'm acquiring as essentials for my new Jeep. A lot of it I had borrowed from friends on previous adventures, and since I don't have a car payment this month I figured I'd use that hole in my budget to get all the things I feel I need...
  10. Dominion OffRoad Stealth Hi-Lift Jack Mount Kit spy pics

Just received and installed mine (although I haven't trimmed the plastic yet). I was so happy to find a mount for the inside. I was honestly a little worried because I jumped the gun and ordered it after minimal research. It's such a good price that I was worried about the build quality until I...
  11. Let's talk MOLLE Bags, Tailgate Racks/Tables and general Jeep storage

Just installed a couple Maxpedition roll up dump pouches on the backs of the front seats. Passenger side largest size And driver's side (the small size since my kid sits there in his booster seat) Allows extra storage space but is completely out of the way when not in use.
  12. Members old and new -- check in and wave hello!

Hi everyone. New guy from Nevada here. I've had a TJ, two JKU's, and just got a 2020 Unlimited Rubicon. I plan on turning it into a mostly overlanding rig, but it's also my DD. Since I don't have a car payment this month, I took what it would be as a budget to buy stuff for it. So far I've...
