I didn't read through all 7 pages on this thread but after having XM in all my cars for years it never dawned on me to negotiate with them. One phone call later and my bill dropped by 2/3. A simple phone call is all it takes. And I set a calendar reminder to call them again in a year.
I guess it depends where you live and what you want. I like having an around town convertible that isn't a sports car. it drives like a toy and that is fun to me. Invested in a good stereo, made some minor upgrades, pop the top off and cruise around having fun. Who goes to malls anymore anyway?
The Sunrider is a great accessory. It is awesome to go convertible at a stop light. I have no problems on the highway top up or down. The only time I have felt even the slightest mist of water is going through a car wash.
I have a 2019 JLU 2.0 (27k miles) and I noticed spotting on my driveway. I took it to the local mechanic and he recommended to bring it to a dealer for warranty service. The dealer looked and could not find the leak source so they kept it overnight, added dye, and the next day still could not...
I went with the JL Audio box and I am very happy with it. If you like a better soundstage with more bass potential then you will be satisfied. if you want to shake the concrete with jarring bass it may not be enough.
You can take it off but you do need to loosen most of the bolts to fasten/loosen the front of the hardtop The sunder is an easy off/on install though. I played with it this morning and it wasn't a big deal, just takes an extra 5 minutes.
