I too can VERY MUCH recommend Rob Trachtman. I ordered from him and he was great to work with. Quick to respond to emails and texts, and willing to take a call.
I was in your exact spot with mine. It came down to the Falken’s being $190 a tire vs $242 for BFGs and $262 for Toyos.
i didn’t think I would notice a difference driving, and they all look great, so the price was just the way to finally choose
Data point: easily sold my takeoff tires for $470. Listed them for $525 (made up that number) on FB marketplace and sold same day. Got a lot of offers around $450.
I really like the Falken Wildpeaks ATiii. They look great and ride great. I can't tell a difference between the ride quality or sound between them and the stock tires that I drove for 200 miles. Although, I really have no other comparison as I have never tried the KO2s, Toyos or Nittos.
I spent way too much considering tires.
At first, I was set on the KO2s (despite my neighbor telling me all the bad experiences he used to have with them and that he would never get them again). I went to Costco to order the KO2s in 275/60/20s (they're on sale there until 9/29), but they said...
I agree. Looks so much better than the stock street tires. I went with the Falken Wildpeaks in that size. Was very close to getting 285/60/20s (Toyos) and even considered 275/65/20s (Nitto Terras).
I’m very curious about your tires. Please keep me posted. I thought about 285/60/20s (Costco had the KO2s on that size but we’re out of the 275/60/20s). The price jumped around $100 per tire in the KO2s going from 275/60 to 285/60. I was also concerned that the wider tire would be more likely to...
Exactly what I’m thinking. Im pickingLine up good week. I think the 275/60/20s KO2s should fit. Not sure why they wouldn’t. They fit 8” wheels. I’m also replacing my side steps. Do you know which one’s you’re going to get?
I don't know for sure, so am curious as well. But I would be surprised if it was a problem. I plan on replacing stock tires with 275/60/20s, which are exactly 33" and slightly bigger than Rubicon tires.
I was torn between the Ocean Blue and Billet Silver (I liked the black too). However, the OB is not available on the 2021 so it made my decision much easier. If I was getting a 2020, the fact that OB is not available in 2021 would have swung me to get that color (more rare). Looks great.
