I have a Rubicon XR, comes with 35" and would like to put 37" KM3's on it. Does anyone know if they will fit without lifting it more or is the XR lift good enough
I had a 2020 Rubicon 2.0T, engine had pep, good mpg 19-20, but sounded like crap with the windows down or the door off. Traded her in with 22K miles and got a 2021 Rubicon XR 3.6 etorque. Etorque works great, very smooth, and the 3.6 sounds a lot better.
The doors are hard plastic as well, where as the leather doors are softer touch material. I have had both and the leather interior seems to be a little bit quieter if you can say a Jeep is quiet inside. I guess it's all relative.
I had a twin ARB compressor from my 2.0T Wrangler and it was mounted below the brake booster. I was hoping the twin compressor would fit in the same spot on the 3.6L eTorque, but after taking the drivers fender off the 3.6L eTorque has some tubing in the way, so I looked for other options and...
2021 Rubicon XR 3.6L, the first oil change was at 700 miles. My uncle sells Schaeffer’s so I use Schaeffer’s 0W-20. I have sent in oil samples to Schaeffer’s from other new vehicles and every sample comes back with sand in the oil, so I guess I would rather not run sand thru the engine...
I purchased a Mishimoto CAI and installed it today, so I thought I would give it a review. First, the installation was very simple and easy to do. The CAI looks nice under the hood. My one complaint is the increased noise especially around 2500rpm just as the transmission shifts from 1 to 2...
I own a XR, coming from a 2.0T Rubicon. The XR is the best driving Wrangler I have owned, the brakes are better, the 3.6 eTorque is very smooth and quiet, the eTorque works better than VVT on the 2.0T, the flairs look nice and so far no rattles.
Out with the old(2020 Rubicon 2.0T), in with the new 2021 Rubicon XR. I swapped the LED lights from the 2020, I had not reinstalled the halogens in the fenders before I took this picture.
