I have the same issue with my Sky-One-Touch.
At full open the audio drops out for 1 second and comes back with less bass.
Hitting the close button fixes the issue. I usually bump the close button after full open to get the bass back.
Took the North bypass around Wilkerson Pass in Park County. It was a nice, short excursion.
While enjoying the scenery on a side road off the North end of Breckenridge, I came across a minor, two vehicle accident with one car stuck in the snow bank. My wife got me some new tow straps for...
The list of upgrades is slowly increasing.
35" tires, 3/4" spacer lift, red accents to bronze, clear turn signal lenses, front windows tinted, color match key bezel, front mud flaps.
Did you look at what tires he had on his Audi?
Running dedicated snow tires is more important than having AWD.
A strong traction control system is great at giving the driver overconfidence.
I prefer driving without traction control. That way I can feel the moment a tire begins to slip.
I will...
Thanks,
I added the supercharger along with some internal engine work. Lots of suspension, aero and weight reduction work has been done. On the track with my R888's up to temp, it will hold 1.5 lateral G's in a corner. What's also great is that you can pick up a used Elise for cheaper than most...
BMW M4 convertible, 6 speed manual, tuned to 550 hp
(The Saab Turbo X is sold)
Highly modified Lotus Elise street/track car
It weighs 1900 lbs with gas and the 1.8 L engine is producing 320 hp.
The wife drives a Tesla P85D and my daughter has an electric Lotus.
Took the Jeep up the South side of Pikes Peak. Found a little fresh snow to play in.
A little blurry, but made it over 11,000 ft.
I also found a very gnarly trail (no pics though) called Eagle Rock.
I got to finally test my diff covers. I'm glad I have them.
I never use the manual key locks and didn't want a plastic cover. So I bought some color matched paint and painted the chrome key locks. I'm very happy with the results.
Installed a new hitch cover. The color almost matches.
I'm using a simple trick to guarantee no one removes it. It is held in place with a 5/8" bolt with left hand threads. Trying to unthread it the standard direction will only make it tighter.
Word of advice: Don't leave a Tazer Mini plugged in while writing a new tune. It screws up the CAN Bus communications and locks up the ECU. Remove the Mini when writing and re-install after the new tune is loaded.
This is a great state to own a Jeep.
I'll keep and eye our for you. I work on the Powers side of Cimarron Hills.
I'm in a Sarge Green Rubicon with bronze accents.
It's not nearly as an efficient storage as CO2, but it will work, just with a lot less tire fillings.
A 10 lb CO2 tank is 0.24 cu-ft. The safety vent releases at ~3000 psi.
Filling the tank with air to 2000 psi will provide enough pressure to add 25 psi to 5-6 tires that are 33" diameter.
Air...
You could purchase your own high pressure air compressor and fill the tanks yourself.
Amazon has them starting at $285.

Its possible the pitch and roll speed limit is due to FCA lawyers, but not for the reasons listed so far.
The speedometer goes to 120 mph. If you drive too fast on an off-road trail that is your fault, not FCA.
The accelerometers that measure the pitch and roll become less accurate as speed...
aww.... thanks
I thought this too from other posts on this site. I started this project by determining what bolts I needed to remove to take off the bumper. Then I realized I could see the screw that holds in the reflectors and I could access them over the rear frame. The trick is removing the...
The rear reflectors are held in by a single 7 mm screw, a tab on the side and a weak snap tab. Once the screw is removed it comes out easily.
Edit: Forgot to mention that I've done the muffler delete, which makes the job easier. You basically want to stick your head where the muffler is, so you...
I picked them up on Amazon for $45. They have the same mounting points as the stock reflectors.
