Was this resolved? I have the same problem. The car can be not moving and I hear it from passenger tail light. Sometimes it resolves on its own. I notice that the sound stops when I open any door. This is the strangest thing.

I also have gps issues not getting signal. I installed it wear they said to. I will be looking to relocate it onto the dash once the weather gets warmer
