Here’s a few more and one with the full side view.
  2. Aluminum Side Step/Rock Guard Option from Greenlane Offroad

Totally agree with you DanW. These should hold up about as well as the stock sliders as they bolt on at all the same points. But as I said earlier these are not made to hold the weight of the Jeep which frame mounted usually are so if you need that kind of protection I suggest something else...
  3. Aluminum Side Step/Rock Guard Option from Greenlane Offroad

I suggest you email them and see. The owner “Donovan” replies to most emails pretty quick.
  4. Aluminum Side Step/Rock Guard Option from Greenlane Offroad

Hi Everyone, Recently we upgraded my wife's (yes, she drives the Jeep in the family) JKU Sport to a JLU Rubicon. She short and needed steps so I began researching options. Our wish list criteria included something that: Wouldn't rust Provide similar protection as stock Rubicon sliders Better...
  5. What side steps / rock rails to add to JL Wrangler?

Hi Everyone, Finally installed the new side steps/rock guards on my wife's JLU today. They're from Greenlane Offroad a Canadian company. Made of high strength aluminum and we opted for the black powder coat finish. We're super pleased with the reduced weight (they say there 15 lbs less...

  7. **ALL NEW** LOD Offroad Armor Lite Rock Sliders - Coming Soon!!!

Great questions. I was also looking at these but the cost is hard to justify without a lot more answers. For example, what exactly is the powder coating process being used? Is it the same or different than the e-coat and powdercoat that comes with the lessor priced Steel Body Mount version...
  8. **ALL NEW** LOD Offroad Armor Lite Rock Sliders - Coming Soon!!!

Hi LOD, What's the weight of the new Armor Lite sliders for the JLU and what can you tell us about the coating technology being used and how well it will hold up to wear and tear? I'd like to know more but can't seem to find these answers yet on the LOD website. Thanks Steven
  9. Jeep invites you to the first ever Jeep Brand digital livestream roundtable

Thanks for the invite. Here's my question. We have a 2020 JLU with the Sky One-Touch Power Top and want to care for and protect our investment. The manual says very little (see below) about how to care for the fabric material or the open/close mechanism (motor, tracks, etc.). What owner...
  10. Reoccurring chime 2-3 times an hour

Thanks for responding., had no idea it does that. I’ll check to see if that’s what’s happening ... it’s my wife’s Jeep.

  13. Anybody with the Dominator D6 running boards

Hi All - Can anyone who’s recently purchased the Dominator D6 running boards confirm if they still flare out on a JLU like shown in this photo (see link to thread and third photo) from back in 2018? https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/dominator-d6-running-boards.9928/ Also, do these...
  14. Unexpected drop in RPM/Power

I don’t believe so as the car was on pavement, had no slippage and no breaking was applied, which is my understanding how Traction Control works.
  15. Unexpected drop in RPM/Power

Thanks for the reply, I’ll check them.
  16. Reoccurring chime 2-3 times an hour

Hi All - We have a. new 2020 JLU with the 8.4 uConnect system. We took it on its first long road Trip (700 miles) and have noticed a very soft chime that occurs 2-3 times an hour. My wife has her smartphone connected via Bluetooth so we thought perhaps it was an email or text notification so...
  17. Unexpected drop in RPM/Power

Hi All, I have a new 2020 JLU with the 2.0L engine (no e-torque). Did our first trip to western Colorado. It drove great most of the trip but I noticed something a handful (5 or 6) of times that seemed off and I want to see if others have experienced it and what it might be. I have...
