Just my opinion, but I like the capture nut fix better than either of the clip solutions.
Having said that, it's nice to see someone offering a product as a solution. Kudos to them!
I'm looking for an affordable winch shackle mount. I know Factor 55 makes some nice stuff but their prices are $$$$
I'm just wondering what others are running and would recommend?
Right now I'm looking at the Rough Country.

I've had a similar issue with them lately.
I ordered a bumper from them. It showed up damaged, so I called them and received a message stating they were in the middle of updating their order management system, then it abruptly hung up. I tried several times and kept getting the same response...
Thanks for sharing your idea #roaniecowpony I had to fix my driver's side visor tonight. Worked great!
I picked up one of the 5/16" red cap push on nuts from Tractor Support. I removed the red plastic cap and just used the nut. I pushed it into the visor shaft with the boxed end of a 7/16 wrench.
Fatal flaws for me are...
No 6.4L offered in a two door. That's BS! They could have easily enough substituted the 5.7L as an alternative for the 2 door folks.
Full-time four wheel drive is going to suck when you're running large expensive tires. Anyone who has owned a full-time four wheel...
Hi All,
I know the Rubicon/Saraha grills come apart in several pieces, whereas the Sport grills are all one piece. My question is, will the Sport grill fit a Rubicon if I'm swapping out the entire grill? What is the purpose for the Rubicon and Saraha grills being different?
Thanks!
While I do agree that's a possible solution, it should be on FCA's dime. No one should have to correct factory engineering on a $50k vehicle, especially when it's a safety issue.
My 2019 JLR wanders like a SOB. I'm constantly having to correct the steering. The only way I can describe it is, it feels just like my 2 door JK after I put a 2.5" lift in it without addressing the caster. My JK also had the same size tires, only in the 16" flavor.
I'm going to try lower the...
The PRP and Bartack look great and both seem to have great reviews. They're a little too pricy for me right now though. The most I think would be $200, for a set.
Hi All,
A month ago I picked up a 2019 Rubicon with leather seat. I'm not really a fan of leather seat, but I would like to protect them and keep them in decent shape. Do anyone have any recommendations for seat covers without spending $500?
I've been looking at the Rough Country ones but they...
Hi All,
This is my first post on the forum. I'm new to JL's but I've owned several JK's.
One thing I've noticed with the JL is the gapping hole where the tailgate hinge enter the tub. What have you all done to help seal this area up?
Living in a northern climate, I'm concerned about road...
