Yeah, I also live close by, but as far as I know, they won't sell in CA since the CARB is pending. Might need to get it out of state. The JL forum has updated tunes but I haven't been able to upload it yet since you need a new module and credits to upload the tunes.
Hey guys that’s my Jeep. I do have 4 kids but I am not Mormon.. haha. I wanted something that the whole family can go off-roading. The frame was extended and welded inside the square tubing.
Hello recently got the Magnuson SC installed on my JL. The kits overall are good and it's great to have the extra torque. One concern is the transition from boost to vacuum. If you are on the freeway at a certain speed, the jeep kind of surges very lightly. You can see it in the speedo but...
We don’t have a specific date we are staying near by from 11/21 to 11/27.. some other people are interested as well.. we are open to different times.. would be great to go with someone that knows the area..
Are some of the turns really sharp? Might need to do a couple 3 point turns?
Thanks for the advice.. I’ll ask around perhaps there are other jeeps going out that day, we are going over thanksgiving week so hopefully there is someone else going at that time.
Thanks guys looking forward to going.. I know this trail is used by the pink jeeps so let’s see how it turns out.. the turning radius isn’t the best but of the videos I watched I didn’t see any very tight turns.
Thanks I did Schnebly Hill about 5 years ago in a SUV but I am sure it's changed. I do remember stopping at all the overlooks. I might try broken arrow, but was concerned about my longer wheelbase.
Hello, wondering if anyone on the forums lives in Sedona or plans to be there around thanksgiving? We plan to make a trip out there and would be nice to meet some people and do some trails. Any suggestions on which trails to do.. I know broken arrow is popular.
Look up Mega X 2 they are in Utah and for the conversion.. plenty of pics on their Facebook page that shows how the doors and roof are done... again they didn’t do mine but seem to have a lot of experience.
No as I mentioned I did it at a shop in Los Angeles but the process wasn’t smooth so I can’t recommend them.. there is a place in Utah that does the 6 door conversion.. I figured living around LA that someone was going to snap a picture and put it on some forum.. I have seen many people taking...
It’s actually not that bad when you look at some of the nicer 7-8 seater suvs they can get fairly expensive.. the Jeep with the conversion was less than the higher end ones.. the process wasn’t easy.. there is a company in LA and Utah that does these conversions.. my experience with the LA one...
Hello it’s basically new middle doors and the frame gets cut and extended.. along with axle, brake lines, fuel lines, wiring harness.. the new doors are made from a hybrid of the front and rear doors.. so basically you need to buy 4 doors to make two.. the top is one piece and basically the...
