Any chance you have a JL Tazer installed? If so that's a default feature.
AutoPassHeat: Warm passenger seat in addition to driver when Auto-On Heat is enabled
Same experience I had (minus the mods, I have a 2020 JLR bone stock), shipped with the AE box when I took delivery in August. Dealer replaced my steering box 2 months ago with the same AE version (currently AE is the most current), night and day difference. Steering is solid now.
If I remember...
I think it depends on when it was manufactured. I ordered my 2020 2 DR JLR in August (2019) and took delivery about a month later.
It shipped with the 68250508AE (which as of now is the most current version) steering box and it did not steer well at all compared to my 2013 JK.
Dealer diagnosed...
I definitely got lucky on this one. I failed to mention in the initial post that the issue was diagnosed as "Play in the spool valve in the steering box".
I worked with a service advisor named Scott.
To level set based on how little luck folks have reported having in this thread I didn't go in with any expectations.
I waited till I brought it in to get my 2nd oil change done, and just casually mentioned that my steering wheel had a good inch of...
I currently have zero play. It drives just like my 2013 JK sport did, which also drove just fine after I lifted it. Which is why I refused to believe that it was a “Jeep Thing”.
I should add that my play over the past 11k miles wasn’t horrible, an inch or so at best. Not nearly as bad as some...
Agree 100% I've been following this thread for months and was full on planning on doing the LCAs and the sector shaft brace if they told me to buzz off.
When they told me they were ordering a new box I was shocked and honestly didn't expect it to be different at all considering same part number...
My 2 door JLR 2020 that I ordered in August had a good inch of play while centered.
Not horrible but annoying at high speed.
Coming from my 2013 JK I know this is absolutely NOT a jeep thing.
It shipped with the 68250508AE (latest part no) steering gearbox so I was REALLY hesitant to bring it...
I had a similar issue, Offroad pages enabled but the app didnt work.
The solution for me was that the tazer needed to remain plugged in.
My uneducated guess here is that the Offroad pages require info that is being blocked by the secure gateway module.
Personally hoping it'll be resolved in a...
Just wanted to follow up, I spoke to the folks over at infotainment.com who sold me the unit.
They were very helpful and as it turns out the resolution here was to keep the bypass unit plugged in after programming it.
Following that, all the gauges in Offroad Pages worked correctly.
Not a huge...
2020 JLR, just upgraded from the Uconnect 7" to the 8.4" All works great.
Decided to try out Offroad Pages and enabled Offroad Pages using OBDGenie.

If you're looking for the premium interior components that you get with the normal leather package (ie red stitching) here are the parts. Most of these are pretty easy to install yourself.
All in you'd be looking at approx $900 to source the parts below.

I just took mine out. It's a 7" from my 2020 JLR, Bezel included $450.
I don't have a code for it, and I have no idea how to get it.
If that's a risk you're good with taking then it's all good.
PM me if interested and we can exchange it via eBay or something.
