    It really does take most of the distortion out of stock speakers to run the bass eq in the stereo at 0 or -2. i Just finally got my sub only install complete and the stock speakers sound tons better.

    Gains are all set below half across the board. Issue persists. I'm not sure it is clipping but it does behave that way.

    Ran a new ground, used a hole in the frame I was able to get a bolt into and grounded to the dedicated bolt. Verified I have constant 13.79v on music with the amp cutting out.     4 gauge, battery with 100amp fuse, ground to frame. Remote is 16gauge to the 12v lighter socket in the back on the drivers side.
