Bringing this back up to get more reviews, hopefully there are a few drivers with some miles on their MT02.
Similar to others, I had Patagonia's in 38's on my last jeep and liked them, however they started to wear quickly and be pretty noisy. Are there any other's out there with some miles on...
I need some input from fellow 392 XR owners. I have an XR on order that should be in transit soon, assuming it doesn’t get stuck somewhere. I’ve had 3 Jeeps in the past (two 2.0 and my current eco diesel) and I have always ran Teraflex lifts with their adjustable shocks which I have liked. For...
I have noticed a few to also be out of spec as well. It is up to the dealer to catch it during it’s Pretty Delivery Inspection, but often gets overlooked. I do believe It’s an easy fix, each pipe is clamped on to the muffler which allows for adjustment.
I have ran 3.5" Teraflex systems on all of my Jeeps (2x ST3 and 1 RT3 kit on my current Jeep) and have been very happy with their kits. Paired with the 3.3's it is a great ride, I prefer the softest setting even on the road but also like that I can stiffen it up for longer windy road trips.
I had 3.5 ST3 on my last 2 2.0L jeeps, this is my first Eco diesel and I went with their nicer RT 3.5 system but all of their kits use the same springs. I am pretty happy with the ride quality, and I have their 3.3 adjustable shocks set to the softest setting. On road, I do have some slight...
Something here is off...
Because it is a turbo diesel, any holes/leaks would not have allowed sand in due to the entire system being pressurized. Any chance of the sand leaking past the air filter would have to be before the turbo.
The only thing that I have seen remotely close to this was...
Another U of U grad here! I just graduated last semester and where I want to live has been on my mind for the past few months. I grew up in Utah and have lived here most of my life, and enjoy the seasons (ski, snowmobile) which is a big part of living here. I only got into Jeeping 3 years ago...
You can get an XR package in a regular Rubicon and 392, which adds lift, wheels, and tires from the factory.
It really comes down to if you want to spend 15k more for the high horsepower engine which most people wouldn't justify because it's not practical. But who needs practical when you can...
I agree with what you are saying and understand the frustration. I decided on a 392 as well simply because it wasn't a huge jump from a fully loaded Diesel Rubicon. The day I placed my order was Monday, when prices increased. I was very disappointed once I realized it was 2-3k more than I...
I believe it would net around 1.5” if lift over a stock suspension. Being a rubicon, it will also have different spring rates and shocks than a sport.
This has been addressed in detail among several threads over the past week. Please check next time for one you can respond too before opening up another thread.
I work at a Jeep Dealer and am very familiar with the ordering process. I am sorry to say that you are incorrect with both assumptions. Your build was completed sooner than others simply because you got lucky in terms of what options, paint, trim, etc. was available at the factory.
Too many...
All I am seeing is a POC, with no notation as to what their offer is. If it is anything close to invoice, you are happy, and they are local then I would do it. Some people on here hunt for deals but that often involves crossing state lines. Here in UT most Jeeps are at MSRP or above.
Also, get...
I don't have any personal experience with the brochure, it was posted in this thread, I have been following it closely as I have a 392 in and would prefer to switch to Reign or Earl if possible but it really comes down to when Jeep will release the color. They haven't "officially" said anything...
Sounds like legal constraints combined with them not wanting to have to redesign a whole new chassis to increase towing, rather than just plop an engine in an already proven one.
Gobi is anticipated for 2022 if the US market follows Canadian brochures, as the color is
